RuPaul’s Drag Race favorities Scarlet Envy, Monique Heart, Rosé, and Kandy Muse are set to guest star in the second season of Paramount+'s hit iCarly revival!
The news was announced in a video featuring all four queens which was posted directly from the set to the official iCarly Instagram page. In the video, Envy, Heart, Rosé and Muse were hype up the show — and it wasn’t the only video, either.
“‘Kay y’all, guess what we are filming this week?” Kandy asked. “Ooh baby that is…iCarly!”
Fans were treated to an additional promo courtesy of the RuPaul’s Drag Race Twitter page encouraging viewers, “Don’t miss it!”

The original Nickelodeon run of iCarly was a fave of young millennials and older zoomers, airing from 2007 to 2012 and starring Miranda Cosgrove as a vlogger who has to learn to balance her newfound internet stardom with her normal life, alongside her best friends.
Everything that ends seems to come back around again, so Paramount+ revived a version of the show that features the eponymous vlogger reviving HER show, and season two is scheduled to premiere in 2022.
The series already received bigoted backlash after it cast Laci Mosley, who is Black and bisexual, as Carly’s new roommate, who is also queer in the show. So unfortunately it isn’t surprising that bringing drag queens onto the series, even presumably for just a guest appearance, is being met with mixed reactions as well.
Fortunately, the queens come with their own fan bases and they’re ready to jump on board the nostalgia train alongside the pro-drag iCarly fans and check out this colorful collab.
