November 4, 2026 - Paramount+ has announced the Australian original drama, Who the Hell is Hamish?, will premiere globally on Paramount+, with all episodes available to binge on Thursday, December 10.

The trailer and key art are also now available for the six-episode drama which features an all-star ensemble cast led by Dominic Cooper and Claire van der Boom.

Inspired by the true story of an industrial fraudster and the victims who banded together to take him down, Who The Hell Is Hamish? follows Hamish McLaren (Dominic Cooper) as he returns to Australia from Canada, not as a man in exile but as a man surveying his old domain, setting his sights on Bec (Claire van der Boom), a recently divorced single mum with three sons and access to a significant family trust. But when Bec begins to notice discrepancies in Hamish's story and some strange behaviour, what starts as personal doubt quickly widens into something far larger: a pattern of deception spanning continents and suspected of leaving a debt of more than $70 million in his wake.

The Next Chapter In The Avatar Legends Universe Premieres Globally On Friday, 9 October.

The Seven Havens are in trouble, but will a new Avatar bring salvation or demise? Fans can get a glimpse of what’s to come in the Avatar: Seven Havens trailer, out now. The all-new animated series, from Avatar: The Last Airbender co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, premieres globally on Paramount+ on Friday, 9 October.

Set in a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm, Avatar: Seven Havens follows Pavi, a young Earthbender who discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra, only to find that in this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its saviour. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, Pavi and her long-lost twin Nisha must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilisation’s last strongholds collapse.

Avatar: Seven Havens stars Saheli Khan as Pavi, Aishu Devan as Nisha, Akshay Khanna as Karthik, Major Curda as Jae, Sakina Jaffrey as Agam, Darren Barnet as Daemin, Dianne Doan as Zi, and Dee Bradley Baker as Geet and Ruhi.

Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are co-creators and executive producers for Avatar: Seven Havens. Ethan Spaulding is executive producer and Sehaj Sethi is co-executive producer. The series is produced by Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studios.

'SpongeBob' x 'One Piece' Happy Meal Collab Confirmed to Set Sail Into McDonald's

It looks like what started as a food-leaker rumor is turning into a near-confirmed reality thanks to McDonald's Australia and New Zealand.

• The leaked lineup includes seven character pairings like SpongeBob and Luffy, Squidward and Sanji, and Plankton and Usopp, with designs that look on-brand enough that fans are debating whether they're official or AI-made.

• For now the promo appears to be New Zealand–only, following the region’s current Spider-Man: Brand New Day Happy Meal set, and McDonald's hasn't posted a launch date on its NZ site yet.

McDonald’s is rumored to be getting ready to launch Happy Meal toys that combine the worlds of two beloved franchises: SpongeBob SquarePants and One Piece.

According to popular food leaker Snackolator, the company's Australia and New Zealand locations will be releasing Happy Meals that feature seven different toys combining the worlds of one of Nickelodeon’s most popular TV shows and one of the biggest manga properties in the world.

Snackolator, who has a track record of accurately revealing food before it's officially announced, posted about the collab on Tuesday, July 28, unveiling seven different combo toys that should be released: SpongeBob and Luffy, Squidward and Sanji, Plankton and Usopp, Mrs. Puff and Linlin, Gary and Chopper, Mr. Krabs and Jinbe, and Larry and Franky.

Accompanying his announcement appears to be an official look at the toys. Keep in mind, it could be AI — but the collabs all look very realistic and properly reflective of the characters' aesthetics.

The bad news is that if you don’t live in Australia or New Zealand, you're out of luck. It appears that this collab is for Australia and New Zealand only for the time being, however, the image does tease that collab may rollout in additional countries.

The promotion would follow McDonald's currently active Spider-Man: Brand New Day toy set in the Australia/NZ market. A specific launch date has not been posted on McDonald’s websites in either region at the time of posting.

Update (8/18) - The SpongeBob x One Piece Happy Meal collaboration has been confirmed!

The collaboration will be available with every purchase of a McDonald’s Happy Meal, and according to the official One Piece website, is happening this month (August 2026, subject to region) in the following countries:

Ironically, there are no current plans to roll out the collab in Japan, however.

The advertisement was directed by Parker Simmons, who provided storyboards to both Toei and Paramount, who each animated their separate properties and handled post production internally. SpongeBob's boarding and posing was done by crew member Simon Edwards with animation from Rough Draft Korea.

The Happy Meal box features pictures of SpongeBob and Luffy's face joining as one. Each meal also comes with a pack of SpongeBob x One Piece trading cards.

Filming Wraps On Paramount+ Australian Original Drama, Who The Hell Is Hamish?

Dominic Cooper and Claire van der Boom Star Alongside An All-Star Ensemble Cast in Gripping Series From Hoodlum Entertainment And CBS Studios.

August 11, 2026 – Paramount+ Australia announced that filming has wrapped on the Paramount+ original series, Who The Hell Is Hamish?.

The gripping new six-episode drama starring Dominic Cooper and Claire van der Boom was filmed in Queensland with the support of Screen Australia and Screen Queensland and is set to premiere exclusively on Paramount+ globally later this year.

The series is written and created by five-time AACTA-winning writer and producer Adam Zwar (Austin, Mr Black), directed by multi-award-winning film and television director Jeffrey Walker (The Artful Dodger, Apple Cider Vinegar) and produced by Emmy^® and BAFTA^® Award-winning production company Hoodlum Entertainment and CBS Studios.

Who The Hell Is Hamish? is inspired by an industrious fraudster, and the group of victims who eventually decided they had had enough of him. The charming and cultured Hamish (Dominic Cooper) sets his sights on Bec (Claire van der Boom), a recently divorced single mother with three sons and access to a significant family trust. When Bec notices gaps in his story and some odd behaviour, what starts as private unease widens into something far larger: a pattern of deception spanning continents and suspected of leaving more than $70 million in its wake.

Dominic Cooper (Preacher, The Gold) leads the series in the role of Hamish, with Claire van der Boom (Blacklight, The Appleton Ladies’ Potato Race) as Bec, alongside an outstanding Australian ensemble cast, including, Simone Kessell (Yellowjackets), William McKenna (Heartbreak High), Kate Jenkinson (Wentworth), Miah Madden (My Brilliant Career), Fraser Anderson (Audrey), Yasmin Kassim (FING!), Doris Younane (Five Bedrooms), Maria Angelico (Strife), Marta Dusseldorp (Bay of Fires), John Howard (Colin from Accounts), Andrea Moor (Spit), Joel Jackson (Peter Allen), Remy Hii (Spiderman: Far From Home), Damien Garvey (The Survivors), Jack LaTorre (Kid Snow) and introducing Harvey Bowen.

August 4, 2026 – Paramount+ today announced the third and final season of its critically acclaimed original series Colin From Accounts, a romantic comedy about flawed, funny people choosing each other and embracing the all-too-relatable chaos of modern life, will premiere Thursday, September 10. All episodes of the highly anticipated new season will be available to stream at premiere, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. The season three official trailer and key art are also now available. Series creators Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer have returned to write, executive produce and star in the farewell season, which picks up after the season two cliffhanger of Gordon's unexpected proposal to Ashley.

• Season three of Colin From Accounts reveals the aftermath of the ill-fated proposal, but while Gordon and Ashley are determined to move on from past embarrassments, they can’t seem to shake their collective baggage. And even as life moves on, with challenges at work, ongoing family battles and new friendship dramas, something keeps pulling this flawed, funny pair back into each other’s orbits. Do Gordon and Ashley belong together – or is their beloved dog Colin the only thing keeping their futures intertwined?

• Alongside Brammall and Dyer, the season three cast includes Thomas Cocquerel (All Her Fault, Gilded Age), Nikki Shiels (The Last Anniversary, Prosper) and Mark Trevorrow (The Bob Downe Show, Kath & Kimderella), alongside returning favourites Emma Harvie, Genevieve Hegney, Michael Logo, Helen Thomson, Darren Gilshenan, Virginia Gay, Annie Maynard, Celeste Barber, Justin Rosniak and Tai Hara.

• The series has garnered international recognition and acclaim, including a BAFTA^® TV Award nomination for Best International Series, alongside winning two Gotham TV Awards (Breakthrough Comedy Series and Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series) and three Australian Logie Awards (for Outstanding Comedy Program, Outstanding Actor and Outstanding Actress). In addition, it was the most nominated comedy series at the 2024 and 2025 AACTA Awards with 19 total nominations, including Best Narrative Comedy Series and Best Acting in Comedy for Brammall and Dyer. The new film, based on the animated series created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, sees Avatar Aang, the world’s last Airbender, learn of an ancient power that could save his culture from extinction. With the help of his friends, he embarks on a global quest to find it before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve.

Cast Announced for PAW Patrol Live!: 'Race to the Rescue' 10 Year Anniversary Tour of Australia

The heroic pups of Adventure Bay are getting ready to race across Australia this winter! Nickelodeon, VStar Entertainment Group and TEG Life Like Touring are proud to announce an all-Australian cast for the 10th-anniversary tour of the iconic live show PAW Patrol Live!™ “Race to the Rescue”.

Marking ten years of this spectacular Broadway-style show, the global stage sensation will take over major arenas across Hobart, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne for strictly limited seasons from Saturday 25 July – Sunday 23 August 2026. Taking the lead as Adventure Bay’s tech-savvy human leader, Ryder, is Green Room Award winner Nicholas Dugdale (TARZAN! The Stage Musical, hit Netflix series The InBESTigators). South East Queensland’s Trent Sinclair (Neighbours, PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue” 2024 Tour) is stepping into the spotlight to tackle the dual roles of police pup Chase and the adventurous snowboarder Jake. A Queensland Conservatorium alumni originally from the Gold Coast, Trent is absolutely delighted to be performing for his home-state fans.

Experienced TV and stage actor Kristie Nguy (Scrublands, Miss Sultanah, MTC’s The Robot Dog) performs both Everest and Farmer Yumi. Hanna Harvey (Plied and Prejudice, feature film Saccharine) plays the beloved, green-clad recycling pup Rocky, while Zayneb Zerzouri (The Lord of the Rings – A Musical, PAW Patrol Live!) stars as the fun-loving, water-rescue dog Zuma.

Fan-favourite construction pup Rubble will be performed by Matthew Mitchell (PAW Patrol Live! Australia and Indonesia tours, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines), with Callum Smith (The Wedding Singer, Sister Act – The Musical) as Marshall and Captain Turbot and Jess Phillippi (PAW Patrol Live! Australia and UK tours) as Skye and Resident Choreographer. Gabrielle Ward (Mary Poppins, Gabby’s Dollhouse Live!) returns to the production as the female onstage Swing.

The production also showcases stellar Tasmanian talent, with Dean Schulz (Midnight – The Cinderella Musical, Gabby’s Dollhouse Live!) taking the reins as the show’s Resident Director and the male onstage Swing. Having spent vast periods of his life in Hobart, which he considers his “home away from home”, Schulz is uniquely placed to guide the cast as they launch the national tour right out of Hobart’s MyState Bank Arena.

Returning to the stage as the hilariously scheming Mayor Humdinger is seasoned mainstage artist Stephen Valeri (Chicago the Musical, Grease – The Arena Experience, Peppa Pig Live!), who previously played the role to critical acclaim across Australia, the UK, and Asia. He stars alongside Vanessa Menjivar (Daniela – In the Heights, PAW Patrol Live!), who returns as the kind-hearted and strong-willed Mayor Goodway. Menjivar balances her role with raising her two young daughters, Vida (4) and Luna (16 months), who are big fans of the show.

Ryder and the pups share lessons for all ages about citizenship, social skills and problem-solving as they make several heroic rescues on their race to the finish line. This year’s tour is proudly partnering with Assistance Dogs Australia, celebrating 30 years of training life-changing assistance dogs, with donation collections taking place during the tour.

Since its debut in 2016, PAW Patrol Live! shows have been seen by 7 million people in over 50 countries around the world. In the last 12 months, PAW Patrol has reached over 4.2 million viewers across 10 and 10 Streaming, and is currently the #1 kids’ series on Nickelodeon, 10 Streaming and Paramount+.
