Nickelodeon Germany Acquires "Johnny Test" Season 6; Renews Deal For Seasons 1 And 2

The licensing business news website Licensing.biz is reporting the Nick Germany news that Nickelodeon Germany (also known as Nickelodeon Deutschland) has picked up the television broadcast rights to the sixth season of the animated children's series "Johnny Test" from Canadian producer and distributor DHX Media, which will include the special 100th episode of the show.

The German version of the popular children's channel has also renewed its deal for seasons one and two of the series and the network has secured all six seasons, with 117 episodes in total.

Johnny Test - aimed at six to 11-year-olds - has seen success on Nickelodeon Germany with over 14.6 million viewers tuning in to the show since 2009.

Season six will celebrate the 100th episode milestone of the escapades of Johnny and his brainiac sisters, with a special episode written by creator Scott Fellows, executive producer of popular titles including Nickelodeon's popular original animated series (Nicktoon) "The Fairly OddParents":

DHX Media has struck a new deal with Viacom Media Networks that will see season six of kids' series Johnny Test air on Nickelodeon Germany.

The children's channel has also renewed its deal for seasons one and two of the show and the network has secured all six seasons, with 117 episodes in total.
