New Look: Nickelodeon UK, the number one commercial kids' television channel in the UK, launched Nickelodeon UK & Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK's brand new channel rebrand on Monday 2nd September 2013, which features a brand new look, which includes fresh bright and colourful on-air presentation (Nickelodeon idents (station ID's), promo endboards, on-screen graphics and channel bumpers), to coincide with the start of the new 2013-2014 school year and Nickelodeon UK's 20th Birthday!
New Special Weekend - "Guest Star Sunday": Nickelodeon UK and Ireland, the number one commercial kids TV network in the UK, has announced in their brand new promo/trailer that Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK will be celebrating their 20th Birthday in style by inviting some of the worlds biggest stars and holding a brand new very special programming stunt/event called "Guest Star Sunday" on Sunday 1st September 2013, which will allow viewers and fans to hang out with their favourite stars all-day! "Guest Star Sunday" will start at 9:00am and end at 10:30pm, and will feature a amazing line-up packed full of some of the biggest episodes of hit Nickelodeon shows which feature great guest stars, spectacular specials and movies featuring some of Nickelodeon's greatest stars, and brand new episodes of the popular Nick shows "Big Time Rush" and "Marvin Marvin"! Plus, to make the day even more spectacular, Nick UK & Eire will also be showing a fantastic sneak peek of Nickelodeon's brand new buddy comedy series and "iCarly"/"Victorious" spin-off, "Sam & Cat", which stars Nick celebrities Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, who reprise their roles of Sam Puckett and Cat Valentine! The Best of Sam & Cat Weekend: To celebrate Nickelodeon UK premiering and showing Nick's brand new original buddy comedy series "Sam & Cat", starring Nick Stars Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, Monday's at 6:00pm (repeated at 7:00pm on Nick+1) from 14th October 2013, Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK will be hosting a brand new special 3-hour weekend programming stunt called "Best of Sam & Cat Weekend" over Saturday 14th September 2013 and Sunday 15th September 2013 from 10:00am and 1:00pm!
