2015 Nickelodeon HALO Awards News Round-Up

Below is a round-up of news and highlights from the taping of the 2015 Nickelodeon HALO Awards at New York's Pier 36 on Saturday 14th November 2015!


Justin Bieber Wins Halo Hall Of Fame Award And Pays Tribute To Paris Victims - While receiving the first-ever Hall of Fame award at the 2015 HALO Awards, Justin Bieber asked the crowd "Can I just say something for one second? There's been some sad things happening in the world right now, and I think we should all honor that and take one moment of silence for that if you guys could. Saturday night was a special evening for Nick Cannon as he helped host his annual Nickelodeon HALO Awards. But before honoring ordinary kids doing extraordinary things in their communities, the "America's Got Talent" host made sure his family had a great time. Cannon started the gig by stepping out onto the red carpet with his mom Beth Gardner. Soon after, the duo met up with the twins for a true Hollywood experience. "DJ Roc&Roe on the 1's and 2's #Ncredible #CannonParty," Cannon shared on Instagram as Monroe and Moroccan posed next to the DJ booth. "I think he's ready... Brec Bassinger and Coy Stewart posed on the orange carpet as they arrived at the 2015 Nickelodeon HALO Awards. The two "Bella and the Bulldogs" stars joined "100 Things to Do Before High School" star Isabela Moner and "Talia In The Kitchen" star Maria Quezada.


Erika Tham, Megan Lee, and Louriza Tronco of "Make It Pop" also hit the carpet together for the 2015 Nickelodeon HALO Awards. The three actresses joined co-star Dale Whibley, plus "WITS Academy" stars Daniela Nieves, Julia Antonelli and Timothy Colombos, plus Rahart Adams from "Every Witch Way" and Sydney Park from "Instant Mom". Fifth Harmony (Camila Cabello, Dinah Hansen, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, and Ally Brooke) hit the Orange Carpet alongside singers Megan Nicole and Tori Kelly. Fifth Harmony also wowed on the stage while performing their hit "Worth It" at the 2015 Nickelodeon HALO Awards. "NICK NICK NICK NICK-ni nick NICK NICK ... NICKELODEON ???? THANK U AGAIN FOR HAVING us apart of a movement such as this,LETS MAKE A CHANGE," Dinah Hansen tweeted after performing with Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, and Ally Brooke. The HALO Awards are Nickelodeon's annual ceremony which honor young community leaders from across the USA. Hosted by Nick Cannon and featuring one-of-a-kind performances by Fifth Harmony, DNCE with lead singer Joe Jonas, Flo Rida, Tori Kelly and WALK THE MOON, the 2015 Nickelodeon HALO Awards will premiere next week, Sunday, November 29th at 7pm ET/PT, across Nickelodeon USA, TeenNick, Nicktoons, TV Land, CMT, Nick.com and the Nick App.
