Original Nickelodeon USA and Tweetsie Railroad Press Release via High Country Press:

Meet Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go! Characters at Tweetsie July 15-17

Nickelodeon, the number one entertainment brand for kids, and Tweetsie Railroad invite kids to meet Dora from Dora the Explorer™ and Diego from Go, Diego, Go!™ on July 15-17, 2016. The Nickelodeon costumed characters will be roaming around the Hacienda at Tweetsie Railroad in 20-minute intervals to take pictures and interact with fans throughout the weekend. Kids will be thrilled to spend time with Dora and Diego, as well as ride the Wild West train adventure and visit the various attractions at North Carolina’s first theme park.

Dora the Explorer, created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh Valdes and Eric Weiner, is a play-along, animated adventure series starring Dora. Dora is a seven-year-old Latina heroine whose adventures take place in an imaginative, tropical world filled with jungles, beaches and rainforests. She explores her world just as preschoolers do every day, and the show is designed to actively engage its audience in an interactive quest using a variety of learning techniques.

Go, Diego, Go! follows eight-year-old Diego Marquez, a bilingual animal rescuer and nature expert that has the ability to talk to animals, and takes adventurous journeys inspired by the rich environments of Latin America and by the animals that make their homes in those habitats. In each episode, Diego and his friends encourage kids to use scientific thinking and investigative strategies to help animals in trouble. The series airs daily on Nick Jr. at 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Nick Jr.
