Nickelodeon Israel Commissions Second Season Of "Bed & Biscuit"

Nickelodeon Israel and yes TV have commissioned a second season of the popular sitcom Bed & Biscuit!

The 20-episode second season will begin shooting later this month and is set to air later this year on Nickelodeon Israel, exclusively for yes Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS). Bed & Biscuit debuted in February 2017 and targets kids aged 8 to 12.

On the show, locally titled בית הכלבים, father-and-daughter team Moti and Ori run a family-owned doggy daycare after moving to the country from the big city. They have to contend with their annoying neighbor, Yaki, who is allergic to dogs.

Bed & Biscuit is produced by Nutz Productions, a subsidiary of Ananey Communications Group that also produced The Greenhouse for yes TV. The live-action daily drama, which aired on Nickelodeon Israel (which a dubbed version on Nickelodeon UK) was acquired by Netflix last year for a remake production. The Greenhouse Academy will air on the SVOD giant this year, and the show marks the first time an original Israeli series has sold to Netflix.
