Playbill To Live-Stream Exclusive SpongeBob SquarePants Pop-Up Preview

SpongeBob SquarePants—The Broadway Musical, the new musical based on the hit Nickelodeon animated series, will begin Broadway previews November 6 at the Palace Theatre, with an official opening night set for December 4.


Here’s how you can get a sneak peek at SpongeBob before it hits Broadway!

Playbill’s new Pop-Up Series, presented by Renaissance Hotels, continues October 16 with a sneak preview of SpongeBob SquarePants—The Broadway Musical. Joining Playbill for the performance and panel discussion will be director Tina Landau, book writer Kyle Jarrow, and SpongeBob star Ethan Slater—who stars as SpongeBob—as well as Lilly Cooper (Sandy Cheeks), Danny Skinner (Patrick), and Brian Ray Norris (Eugene Crabs).

The exclusive event will be streamed via Facebook Live shortly after 7 PM/ET from the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel.
