On This Day | The Wild Thornberrys Premiered | Nickelodeon

Isn't it just smashing that the The Wild Thornberrys premiered 20 years ago?!

Nicktoons Facts: The Wild Thornberrys was created by Gabor Csupo and Arlene Klasky with Steve Pepoon, David Silverman and Stephen Sustarsic, the third Klasky Csupo collaboration for Nickelodeon. It premiered on September 1, 1998 and ran for 92 episodes over 5 seasons, plus two feature films (The Wild Thornberrys Movie and Rugrats Go Wild) and a TV movie (The Wild Thornberrys: The Origin of Donnie). The voice cast of The Wild Thornberrys included Lacey Chabert (Meg Griffin in the first season of Family Guy) as Eliza Thornberry, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers as Donnie and Tim Curry (The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Stephen King's It) as Nigel Thornberry.
