Here’s the catch-- Keegan and his mom only had three minutes to run through the aisles and grab as many toys as they could.
“I just had to run, get as much as I can," Keegan told WTAJ.
“It was total chaos," his mom Raquel Stanisic said. "I didn’t think it would be. I was yelling to him and we would stop and he would grab.”
It all happened at the DuBois Walmart on Tuesday, December 4.
Stanisic was cheered on by his family and Walmart employees.
Nickelodeon crews caught the whole experience on camera for a social media revival of their beloved 90s Toy Run contest.
Officials of Nickelodeon said they're now talking to parents who grew up watching Neckelodeon's Toy Run.
“Why bring back the toy run? Because it’s every kid’s dream come true and that’s what Nickelodeon is all about," Rebecca Blumberg, Director of Marketing and Promotions of Nickelodeon said.
When the time was up, Keegan and his mom had filled several shopping carts with toys worth $3,000.
“I picked up some Lego sets, Nerf guns, a little doll for my cousin and a lot of stuff," Keegan said.
The store was filled with lots of support from friends, family and Walmart associates.
“Keegan treated us really well today, he didn’t trash the place too bad," DuBois Walmart manager Howie Allen said. "The biggest thing is cleaning up the confetti from the excitement at the end.”
"Our associates were really excited that we got to be part of something that was much bigger than just the DuBois Walmart Supercenter," Store Manager Howie Allen told WJAC. 'We’re part of a bigger purpose and mission and it was great for us.”
Stanisic's mother said it's an experience he will never forget.
“It’s a lifetime memory, I mean how many kids get to run through a toy aisle and get whatever they want for nothing? We’re very thankful to Walmart and Nickelodeon," Raquel Stanisic said.
She said Keegan will keep many of the toys, give some to his cousins and donate the rest to their local food pantry.
Stanisic was selected from more than 150,000 entries. Other winners are from Wisconsin and Texas.

The children’s entertainment brand and retailer partnered to bring back the iconic 90s classic and give youngsters the chance to win a three-minute shopping spree worth up to $3,000 in the toy aisles of their local Walmart — just in time for Christmas.
In addition to the shopping spree, the prize package also included transportation to the Toy Run, $500 in spending money and shipment of the products to the winner’s home.

The grand prize winners were selected from more than 150,000 entries. Other winners are from Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin and College Station, Texas. Ten runner-up winners each received a $500 Walmart gift card.
Lindsey Williams, director of brand management at Walmart, said the sweepstakes, which started on Oct. 15 with the deadline for entries on Nov. 4, was open to youngsters between the ages of 6 and 11 in the continental U.S.
“We are coming out and we are staking our claim as ‘America’s Best Toy Shop,’ and what better way to do that then partner with Nickelodeon and bring back this iconic, highly recognizable event that we all loved to watch in the 80s,” said Williams. “And bring it back and let some kids really truly experience the magic of Christmas in that way.”
Since Snow Shoe doesn’t have a Walmart store, Williams said they reached out to Carol Williams, who manages the area.
“We said, ‘Hey, Carol, what do you think? Which store would be the best store for him to do this in,’” said Williams. “And so she just praised Howie Allen a lot, the store manager here, he’s been a phenomenal help. And we are just really thrilled with the way that it’s coming to life.”
“This is fantastic. This is great for the local economy, this is great for Keegan from Snow Shoe,” said Allen. “The fact that they selected our store in DuBois speaks again to the fact that DuBois is the best place to live and the best place to work. We’re excited to host Nickelodeon and all these folks from Bentonville, from L.A, New York City. They came in, they got to go to Dr. Doolittle’s, they enjoyed that, they thought it was fantastic. They went to Luigi’s and had a great time there, and I think a few of them even hit up The Hitching Post. It was pretty great.”

DuBOIS — “I told him the chances of winning was like me winning the lottery,” said Raquel Stanisic, after her son, Keegan, finished his toy shopping spree through the DuBois Walmart toy aisles Tuesday.

“I said, buddy, you’re not going to win it,” Stanisic said when she signed him up to enter the Walmart and Nickelodeon Toy Run: Family Style Shopping Spree sweepstakes.
She said she didn’t actually believe it when she heard Keegan’s name was one of three grand prize winners that were randomly selected from more than 150,000 entries.
“I thought it was a scam. I researched it on the internet, and called the in-between person, talked to them, and they’re like, no, he really won,” said Stanisic.
The night before the toy shopping spree, his mom said he was planning and thinking about what he wanted to get.

What were the toys he wanted most?
“He wanted an electric motorcycle, and he’s a big Lego and Nerf person,” said Stanisic. “And he got a load full.”
After the shopping spree, Keegan said he just “had to run” and try to get as many toys as he could.
The moments before the shopping spree, Keegan’s mom felt that he was “completely overwhelmed.”
“He did sleep a little last night. Once he went to sleep, it was like trying to get him up any other day,” she said. “But I said, ‘Okay, buddy, it’s Toy Run time.’ Then he popped up.”
She said his friends all knew he was coming today.
“His class, unfortunately, wasn’t able to make it, because they can’t travel on the interstate,” said Stanisic. Keegan is a student at Snow Shoe Elementary in Centre County, which is part of the Bald Eagle Area School District.
Keegan was thrilled, though, that many of his family and friends could come with him on the spree, including his school teacher.
She said they have never shopped at the DuBois Walmart before.
“Actually we have two in State College, so we were a little shocked that it was here,” said Stanisic.
It only took them about 50 minutes to get to DuBois and part of the prize included a stretch limousine ride.
“They’re going to try to put everything in the limousine that we came in,” Stanisic said. “What they can’t, then they’ll ship to him.”
Stanisic said Keegan plans to go through his toys once he gets home and decide which toys he will keep. He also selected some toys for his cousins.
“He wants to donate some toys to our local food bank. They distribute them to kids in our area,” she said. “I don’t know what Santa’s going to bring him now. I did most of my shopping before we came,” she said.
It’s a memory that will last a lifetime, said Keegan’s mother.
“How many kids get to run through a toy aisle and get whatever they want for nothing?” she said.
Both she and Keegan said they were very appreciative to Walmart and Nickelodeon for the opportunity.
Keegan’s Toy Run shopping spree will available to watch on both Walmart and Nickelodeon social media later this month.
