Lex Lumpkin Shares His Favorite Part About Being on 'All That'

Lex Lumpkin is bringing all the laughs on Nickelodeon's reboot of All That!


The teen actor does a number of impressions on the sketch comedy show, including Nick Cannon, President Barack Obama, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Michael Strahan, and more.

Just Jared Jr. spoke with Lex and he dished that doing the impersonations is actually his favorite part of being on the show!

“My favorite thing about being on All That is doing impressions of various stars. I also like the fact that you get to play a different character every week,” he said.

  • My favorite sport to play is basketball.
  • I’m left handed.
  • I love to write and my goal is to write a screenplay one day.
  • I’ve been playing the piano for 10 years.
  • I like to rap and beatbox.
  • I like to draw to relax.
  • My favorite color is blue.
  • I got to work with Peyton Manning twice already in my career. Once in my first national TV commercial and also on All That.
  • I love doing impressions. Some of my favorites are Denzel Washington, Will Smith and Kevin Hart.
  • My first professional acting role was as Stuart Little.

In a time when most 14 year olds are at home playing video games and enjoying their summer breaks, All That breakout star is working harder than ever to build his brand, and connect with fans on a daily basis. Weekly Live with Lex where he guests other actors, and his sketch segment ‘Crazy Castings’, are just some of the ways this young star continues to grow. Lex has shown to be multi-talented though his time on All That, and playing the piano on his social media, so we are excited to hear there is possible new music on the way!

‘I’m trying to beat out my music video, because I wrote some songs. I’m recording everything.’


Being multi-talented and hungry to learn has allowed Lex to flex his skill in many avenues. His weekly segment ‘Crazy Castings’ where he impersonates a well known actor who auditions for a movie opposite of their norm. From Kevin Hart auditioning for A Few Good Men to President Barack Obama auditioning for Black Panther, Lex’s “Crazy Casting’ segment has garnered a lot of praise from his fans.


“I try to bring people of all colors, shapes, sizes, everything… I can attract a larger audience in, when I am pubbing them. You know it’s just spreading the love.”

Live with Lex is another weekly segment the young star has on his instagram (@MrLexLumpkin) where he goes live every tuesday and brings on a new guest each time. Lex is able to show fans and aspiring actors an inside look on what it takes to become a full time actor. His star-studded guest list includes Lisa Foiles, Kenny Knox, and All That and Saturday Night Live vet Kenan Thompson to name a few.


At just 14 years old, Lex Lumpkin has become a household name not only because of his talents on Nickelodeon’s All That, but from the constant love and engagement he has with his fans on a daily basis. This young man has really shown his fans that anything is possible if you put the work in.
