Submitted for the approval of The Midnight Society.. Nickelodeon will release a soundtrack album for the network's revival of its iconic horror anthology series, Are You Afraid of the Dark?!
The album features the original music score from the show’s first season composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Project Power, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp) & Jason Lazarus (Teen Titans Go! Season 1 of Are You Afraid of the Dark? is written by BenDavid Grabinski, directed by Dean Israelite and stars Rafael Casal, Lyliana Wray, Miya Cech, Sam Ashe Arnold and Jeremy Ray Taylor. The series, which revolves around a group of kids calling themselves the Midnight Society who meet every week around a campfire to tell terrifying horror stories, premiered last year on Nickelodeon (and will repeat with all three episodes back-to-back on Friday, Oct. 30, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT) and is now also available on VOD and DVD. A second season is in the works, set to premiere during 2021 on Nickelodeon.
