Netflix to Add 'Henry Danger' and 'The Haunted Hathaways' in January 2021

Netflix will be adding the popular Nickelodeon comedy series Henry Danger and The Haunted Hathaways to its programming library in the U.S. in January 2021!

Netflix will be adding The Haunted Hathaways seasons 1 and 2 on Friday, January 1, 2021, and Henry Danger seasons 1, 2 & 3 on Friday, January 15, 2021.

Both series are currently available on CBS All Access (Paramount+), and are expected to remain on the streaming service when added to Netflix.

The news follows Netflix adding Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra to its library earlier this year, with the former even smashing a record. In November 2018,  Netflix and Nickelodeon announced that they had formed a multi-year output deal to produce original animated feature films and television series - based both on the Nickelodeon library of characters as well as all-new IP - for kids and families around the world. Netflix is also working on a live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The original creators of Avatar were originally slated to be a part of the live action series, and though they departed from it earlier this year, fans are crossing their fingers that it will still be a welcome part of the franchise that made Aang and friends so popular. The streamer also has animated movies based on The Loud House and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the pipeline.

About The Haunted Hathaways

When Michelle Hathaway (Ginifer King) relocates from New York to New Orleans with her daughters - Taylor (Amber Montana) and Frankie (Breanna Yde, School of Rock) - to open a bakery, they get more than they bargained for. They quickly realize that their new home is already being occupied by jazz musician Ray Preston (Chico Benymon) and his two sons - Miles (Curtis Harris) and Louie (Benjamin "Lil P-Nut" Flores Jr., Game Shakers) - and that's not even the weirdest part. The family living in the house is made up of ghosts. That revelation would be enough to scare most families out of the house, but not the Hathaways. The two families agree to live together in the house and eventually begin to care about and rely on each other just as a normal family does. Also like a normal family, they drive one another crazy. But in the end, the familial bond wins out, and the Hathaways discover that living with ghosts can be fun. Who knew? (47 episodes across two seasons, July 2013 - March 2015)

About Henry Danger

If Henry Hart's (Jace Norman) buddies knew what he did after school, he would be the most popular kid in eighth grade. Henry lands a part-time job as Kid Danger, a sidekick-in-training to super-crimefighter Captain Man (Cooper Barnes). The perks are awesome: $9 an hour, high-tech gadgets to use and -- best of all -- Henry gets to save the world! Yet he must keep the gig secret from his best friends, Charlotte (Riele Downs) and Jasper (Sean Ryan Fox), and little sister, Piper (Ella Anderson), even as adventures with Captain Man throw Henry's life absurdly out of whack. (121 episodes across five seasons, July 2014 - March 2020).
