Ahead of the launch of Paramount+, new CBS All Access subscribers have a chance to get the service for half the price if they subscribe for a full year!
According to an advertisement currently running on the Paramount+ website, https://www.paramountplus.com, you can get 50% off the annual plan if you subscribe to CBS All Access by March 3rd – a day before the service rebrands as Paramount+!
"Sign up for a CBS All Access annual plan today and for a limited time we'll sweeten the deal with 50% off your first year. Then stream even MORE shows, movies & originals when your subscription transitions over to Paramount+ on March 4. Offer expires on 03/03/2021 11:59 PM GMT. Terms and conditions apply. Code PARAMOUNTPLUS will be automatically applied upon checkout," reads the ad.
Currently, CBS All Access costs $59.99 for the ad-supported version and $99.99 for the ad-free subscription. So, with $30 or $50, you can get a year of CBS All Access that will transform into Paramount + when the service launches. This can be done by going to CBS All Access and getting an annual subscription and putting in the PARAMOUNTPLUS code before you’re done.
There’s currently no indication that the price will change for Paramount Plus, at least not in the initial phase of the rebrand.
Paramount+ will keep everything that’s currently available on CBS All Access and add extra originals, as well as some 30,000 episodes and movies from Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., BET, Comedy Central, MTV, and Smithsonian Channel. Of course, given the name of the service, expect lots of Paramount Pictures movies too.
Paramount+ Originals will be the streaming home to the brand new SpongeBob SquarePants spin-off Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, and all new SpongeBob movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, both of which will be available from launch.
