Nickelodeon Boo-niverse at the Mall of America is back! Celebrate the season with spinetingling fun at Nickelodeon Universe® between September 24 - October 31. Meet your favorite Nickelodeon characters in their Halloween costumes and check out all our upcoming events throughout the season. Team Nick are looking forward to seeing you soon!

Nickelodeon Universe has come under a spell of a funky Witch! She can make the lights and music groove, and people move – all in the name of spooky Halloween fun!

Shock and Ride Dance Party | South Entrance of Nickelodeon Universe
October 1 – 30
Friday + Saturday Nights: 7:30 – 9 p.m.

Join Team Nick from 8 -9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights to boogie down to your favorite spooky hits. Shock and Ride will include a live DJ.


Halloween Hula Hoop Show from Funtime Functions | West Market Scare
Saturday, October 9 + Sunday, October 10 | 1, 2 + 3 p.m.

Join Hooperina for a spooky time and watch a fun hula hooping show.


Magician from Funtime Functions | West Market Scare
Saturday, October 16 + Sunday, October 17 | 1, 2 + 3 p.m.

Be magically mystified by the Magician.


Rad Zoo | West Market Scare
Saturday, October 23 at 2 + 3 p.m.

Rad Zoo is bringing a group of haunting animals to show off and get you in the Halloween spirit.

Live Pumpkin Carvers | West Market Scare
Saturday, October 30 + Sunday, October 31 | 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.


Watch and ask questions as our local sculptors carve your favorite Nickelodeon characters out of real pumpkins.

Nickelodeon Boo-niverse brings family-friendly frights to Mall of America

Nickelodeon Universe indoor theme park transforms into Nickelodeon Boo-niverse from Sept. 24 – Oct. 31, featuring six spooky ways to make the most of the Halloween season.

Nickelodeon Boo-niverse returns to Mall of America for a month of kid-friendly Halloween fun. Favorite characters are dressed up in their trick-or-treating costumes, moody music sets a seasonal atmosphere, and special live shows and pumpkin carving add to the Fall festivities.

Highlights during the Boo-niverse event are:

Fright Lights – A funky witch has cast a spell on Nickelodeon Universe, causing the lights and music to take on a groovy mood. See the transformation at the attraction’s South Entrance on Sunday-Thursday until park close, and on Friday and Saturday from 8-9 p.m.

Shock and Ride Dance Party – Boogie to Halloween hits with Team Nick and a live DJ each Friday and Saturday night through Oct. 31. The dance party takes place from 7:30-9 p.m., and it can be found at the South Entrance.

Halloween Hula Hoop Show from Funtime Functions – Hooperina stars in this seasonally themed hula hooping show on Oct. 9-10 at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. in the West Market Scare (Square) area.

Magician from Funtime Functions – It wouldn’t be a Halloween event without magic and mystification! Catch this magic show in the West Market Scare area of the park on Oct. 16-17, at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Rad Zoo – West Market Scare is the setting for a gathering of haunting animals waiting to show off and get visitors into the Halloween spirit. They’ll be at the park on Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., and on Oct. 24 at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Live Pumpkin Carvers – Watch as skilled carvers turn pumpkins into favorite Nickelodeon characters! Want to up your game in the pumpkin carving department? They’ll be happy to answer your questions, too. Catch the carving events in the West Market Scare area on Oct. 30-31 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.


SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick at Nickelodeon Boo-niverse
Nickelodeon Universe reopened at Mall of America on Aug. 10 after a five-month closure, and continues to put guests’ health and safety at the forefront. Masks are highly recommended for all guests, wait times for rides may be extended due to increased cleaning, and some attractions may not be available.
