RAI in Italy Acquires 'The Adventures of Paddington'

Nick News Brief: Italian broadcaster RAI has acquired the rights two seasons one and two of Nickelodeon's hit Emmy award winning CG-animated preschool series The Adventures of Paddington from European production, distribution and sales powerhouse Studiocanal! The series is based on the beloved Paddington Bear franchise by Michael Bond. The news follows Shanghai Senyu Media in China acquiring the rights in March this year. RAI also took the rights to Esther’s Notebooks, also from Studiocanal. Currently in its second season, a third season of The Adventures of Paddington is in production.

La RAI – Radio Televisione Italiana ha acquistato The Adventures of Paddington, serie animata basata sul personaggio creato da Michael Bond, la cui prima stagione è stata un successo di critica e pubblico, ottenendo due Daytime Emmt Awards per la migliore serie animata e il miglior team di sceneggiatori di una serie tv per un pubblico prescolare.

Scritta da John Foster e James Lamont e prodotta dalla casa di produzione Heyday Films di David Heyman, da Studiocanal, Copyright Group e M6, The Adventures of Paddington viene attualmente trasmessa su Nickelodeon tramite episodi della durata di 11 minuti incentrati su temi quali la famiglia, la curiosità e il rispetto per gli altri.
