ViacomCBS to Make Changes to Nickelodeon Channels in Europe Over the Holidays

ViacomCBS Networks International's (VCNI) will be making a few changes to its Nickelodeon bouquet of channels in Europe at the end of December 2021:

-- Nickelodeon Iberia:

After merging the Nickelodeon Iberia (aka Nickelodeon Commercial Light) feed - serving Nickelodeon channels in Spain (EspaƱa) and Portugal (Portuguesa) - with the Nickelodeon Scandinavia feed - serving Nick channels in Sweden (Sverige), Norway (Norge), Denmark (Danmark) and Wallonia (Wallonie) - earlier this year, both feeds will separate again on January 3, 2022.

-- Nicktoons Scandinavia:

Unfortunately, it looks like Nicktoons Scandinavia will be closing on January 1, 2022. According to Commissariaat voor de Media (CVDM; the broadcasting authority of the Netherlands), VCNI has not renewed Nicktoons Nordics' broadcast license, which is set to expire on January 1, 2022.

UPDATE (26/12) - It looks like it was a false alarm! The Nicktoons license has been renewed for another five years, up to 2027! Schedules have also been updated for the new year!

-- Nickelodeon Poland:

As previously reported, following Czech Radio and Television Council (RRTV) granting Nickelodeon Poland (Polska) a Czech broadcast license, Nickelodeon Polska will "delocalise" and start to use the Nickelodeon Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) feed from Monday 27th December 2021. The channel will use the same schedule as Nick CEE, but will have a few localised opt-outs.
