Colors Gujarati UK to Start Airing ‘Motu Patlu’ & ‘Gattu Battu’ From Saturday 19th February 2022

In a bid to cater to the children’s category, Colors Gujarati UK will start airing two of Nickelodeon India’s favourite and most popular kids shows – Motu Patlu and Gattu Battu in Gujarati every weekend. The shows will air every Saturday and Sunday, with Motu Patlu airing at 10:00 and Gattu Battu at 11:00 starting Saturday 19th February 2022. Colors Gujarati is available on Sky channel 794 and Virgin Media channel 825.

Motu Patlu

Motu and Patlu are two clueless, simple but lovable adventurers from a small town in the heartland of India, known as Furfuri Nagariya. They have an uncanny ability to attract trouble which only lands them in entertaining and hilarious situations. They form a rather odd couple as Motu is a food addict and Patlu considers himself as the ‘Bright chap’ of the team. Motu Patlu has been immensely popular amongst kids across 100+ countries from the day it launched.

Gattu Battu showcases the story of two friends Gattu and Battu who run a detective and security agency. Battu’s sixth sense and Gattu’s bravery help the duo solve the trickiest of cases. The series previously aired on Colors TV UK.

Commenting on the development, Govind Shahi, Executive VP & Head, IndiaCast International Business, said, “After the success of our fiction shows, we are glad to add two of the best kids’ animation shows to our programming line-up and strengthen our weekend morning band. By bringing these finest properties from our own network in Gujarati language, we not only want to build our kids category viewership but are also reinforcing our commitment towards our Gujarati family audience.”
