Charles Pemberton Shilling III has been sent with his baby-sitter to stay with his aunts in their creepy old farmhouse. One night he has a nightmare and wakes up to see a ghost standing outside his bedroom window. The ghost is wearing tattered clothes and cries up to Charles that he is cold. Charles is terrified and becomes even more horrified when the ghost keeps reappearing. For the first time in his life Charles must find his own courage to help the ghost.
