Nickelodeon UK Refreshes Official Website

Nickelodeon UK & Ireland has refreshed the channel's official website, nick.co.uk.

The new look uses the purplish 'bare-bones' framework based on a design of Nickelodeon USA's official website, nick.com, which itself started to roll out internationally in 2000. However, the 'bare-bones' design has meant that all the games, videos and activities featuring popular Nickelodeon characters fans had previously enjoyed on the website, as well as the schedule page have now been removed, with only basic show information remaining and most video content now being released on the official Nickelodeon UK YouTube channel, @NickelodeonUK.

The refresh isn't too surprising as the site hadn't been updated much over the last few years, with only minor updates to add pages for a few of Nickelodeon's new shows.

The news also follows Nick Jr. UK & Ireland's official website, nickjr.co.uk, also getting the bare-bones website in 2021. The news also comes are Nickelodeon UK is slated to introduce Nickelodeon's new Splat identity in July 2023.

For the time being, the official Nicktoons UK & Ireland website, nicktoons.co.uk is still up and running, featuring videos and games as well as the Clipdeck, although this website is expected to go offline soon.
