Milkshake!, the preschool programming strand of public service broadcaster (PSB) 5 in the U.K., has launched the Feature Your Teacher initiative, inviting early-years educators to read a story on air for a special strand of Milkshake! Story Den.
Selected teachers from across the U.K. will be featured reading a story in the show later this year, as part of Milkshake!’s wider support for the U.K.’s National Year of Reading.
The initiative aims to shine a spotlight on those who bring stories to life every day and play a vital role in fostering a love of reading in young children, as well as developing children’s language and storytelling skills.
Milkshake! is seeking Nursery, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 teachers to participate in our upcoming programme, “Story Den: Feature Your Teacher.” Five selected educators will be featured reading a story in the new series, coming soon to Milkshake!
Early-years educators can apply via the Milkshake! website through Friday 1st May 2026. Terms & Conditions apply.
