SpongeBob, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Trek Scouts Celebrate 60th Anniversary of 'Star Trek' With Vulcan Salutes

Today (September 8) marks 60 years since the debut of Star Trek, one of the most iconic franchises in all the galaxy, and to celebrate 60 years of boldly exploring the final frontier, Nickelodeon has unveiled pictures of SpongeBob SquarePants, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles, along with a video of the Star Trek Scouts, performing one of Star Trek’s most recognizable gestures: the Vulcan Salute! In a post on Instagram, Nickelodeon said "reporting for duty 🖖 Happy #StarTrekDay! #StarTrek60".
