Dutch OTT TV Service NLziet Adds Several Paramount Channels to 'Extra' Plan

Dutch OTT TV service NLziet is adding seven more channels to its 'Extra' top-of-the-range plan. The new channels, available from Tuesday 1st July 2025 and all from the Paramount portfolio, are Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nicktoons, Nick Music, Paramount Network, MTV, and Comedy Central.

HILVERSUM – De Nederlandse tv-streamingdienst NLZIET breidt het zenderpakket van NLZIET Extra in juli aanzienlijk uit. Vanaf deze maand krijgen abonnees toegang tot maar liefst zeven extra nieuwe zenders, zonder dat de abonnementsprijs stijgt.

Met de toevoeging van Paramount Network, MTV Nederland, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nick Toons en Nick Music wordt NLZIET Extra nog aantrekkelijker voor een breed publiek. Van populaire kinderprogramma’s en Hollywoodfilms, tot muziek en comedy. Naast deze zeven nieuwe zenders en de 41 basiszenders bevat NLZIET Extra ook HISTORY Channel, Crime + Investigation, Curiosity Channel, BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three, BBC Four, BBC News, E! Entertainment en Euronews. Bovendien kunnen abonnees met NLZIET Extra op drie apparaten tegelijk kijken, ideaal voor gezinnen of huishoudens met verschillende kijkvoorkeuren.

ViacomCBS Launches 'My Nick Jr.' Service on KPN in the Netherlands

ViacomCBS Networks Benelux today (October 15) launched My Nick Jr., Nickelodeon's award-winning personal programming service for preschoolers in the Netherlands (Nederland) in partnership with Dutch telecommunications company KPN!

KPN's TV customers with a Plus or Kids package can now access My Nick Jr., a linear edutainment product aimed at young viewers between 2 and 6 years old. The service enables parents to personalise what their child watches and for how long, as well as what educational themes to focus on, such as language and math.

My Nick Jr. features hours of educational episodes of beloved Nick Jr. shows. Using the service, preschoolers can improve important skills such as calculation, creativity, and languages, all while having fun with their favourite Nick Jr. characters.

My Nick Jr. is available on KPN channel 50.

My Nick Jr. has previously launched in China, France, Spain and the UK.

My Nick Jr. biedt hiermee een veilige en leerzame omgeving voor kinderen zonder enige vorm van reclame. Het innovatieve nieuwe product is vanaf nu lineair beschikbaar voor alle klanten van KPN met een Plus- of Kidspakket via kanaal 50.

 

My Nick Jr. bevat meer dan 600 verschillende programma’s, zoals PAW Patrol en Blaze & The Monster Machines, gericht op kinderen tussen de 2 en 6 jaar. Met de gratis My Nick Jr. app kijken kinderen veilig naar programma’s

Ouders opgelet. Nickelodeon komt met een nieuwe gratis app die vanaf nu gratis te gebruiken is als je het Pluspakket of Kidspakket hebt. Deze app is een veilige, en leuke tv-app voor kinderen. Hij geeft jou controle over wat jouw kind te zien krijgt en hoe lang. Je vindt de slimme My Nick Jr. app op kanaal 50.

Hoe werkt het?

Ga naar kanaal 50 om de app op je TV op te starten. Maak eenvoudig een profiel aan voor één of meerdere kinderen. Selecteer per profiel minimaal 3 thema’s, bijvoorbeeld Rekenen, Creativiteit of Nieuwsgierigheid. Selecteer vervolgens minimaal 3 favoriete programma’s, zoals Dora, Shimmer en Shine of Paw Patrol.

Je kunt de app ook instellen op basis van leeftijd of geslacht. Aan de hand van de opgegeven voorkeuren en ingestelde kijktijd, past de app de programma’s aan die jouw kind in een veilige omgeving kan kijken. Het openen en afsluiten van de app is alleen mogelijk door middel van het oplossen van een rekensom, dus je kinderen kunnen niet zomaar de app afsluiten.

KPN's TV customers with a Plus or Kids package can now access My Nick Jr, a linear edutainment product from ViacomCBS, aimed at young viewers between 2 and 6 years old. The service enables parents to personalise the viewing behaviour of their children around 11 educational themes, such as language and math. They can create three channels in this way.

My Nick Jr has already launched in China, France and the UK.

It’s time to pull up the Thinking Chair and follow the paw prints as Blue and her crew return in Nickelodeon’s brand-new preschool series Blue’s Clues & You!, debuting on Nick Jr. Netherlands (Nederland) and Nick Jr. Flanders (Vlaanderen) on Monday 30th March 2020 at 07:40 uur! Following launch, new episodes will continue to air weekdays at 07:40 on Nick Jr. Nederland and Nick Jr. Vlaanderen. Each episode will encore the same evening at 19:30 uur.

Steve Burns (Steve) and Donovan Patton (Joe) will reprise their roles in the series premiere, “Meet Josh!,” and help new live-action host Josh (Joshua Dela Cruz) and the audience solve their first game of Blue’s Clues.

Blue’s Clues & You! will feature brand-new elements alongside refreshed iconic items from the original series, including:

The Nick Jr. Playtrailer to Visit Hardenberg in the Netherlands on Thursday 15th August 2019

Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland) will be bringing taking their Nick Jr. Playtrailer to Hardenberg to eastern Netherlands on Thursday 15th August 2019! The Nick Jr. Playtrailer will allow visitors to participate in many activities inspired by popular Nick Jr. shows, including PAW Patrol, Shimmer & Shine and Top Wing.

The Nick Jr. Playtrailer was set to visit Hardenberg on Thursday 25th July 2019, however, this was postponed due to high temperatures in the region.

Nickelodeondag en Braderie afgelast

De Nick Jr. Playtrailer van Nickelodeon komt morgen toch niet naar Hardenberg. In verband met de verwachte hoge temperaturen en de afgekondigde code oranje is besloten de activiteiten in de mobiele speeltrailer af te blazen. Ook de braderie die donderdag zou worden gehouden is afgelast. De Nickelodeon Truck komt op donderdag 15 augustus wel naar Hardenberg.

Winkelstad Hardenberg had met de unieke Nick Jr. Playtrailer een mooie activiteit voor de jongste inwoners en bezoekers gepland. Een combinatie van springen, spelen en klauteren in de herkenbare omgeving van populaire tv-karakters: springen tussen de helden van Top Wing, spelen in de wereld van Shimmer & Shine en glijden van de enige échte PAW Patrol toren. Ook een Meet & Greet met de PAW Patrol stond op het programma. Voor al deze activiteiten moeten de kinderen nog een maandje geduld hebben, want op 15 augustus komt de truck alsnog naar Hardenberg.

Nieuwe kinderroute van Joggem

Hardenberg - Als officiële start voor een nieuwe kinderroute van Joggem: Joggem & de overstroming van de Vecht, overhandigt burgemeester Peter Snijders donderdag 15 augustus om 14.15 uur de eerste honderd exemplaren aan Nickelodeon. De exemplaren worden daarna gratis uitgedeeld vanuit de Nickelodeontruck in het centrum.
Joggem & de overstroming van de Vecht vertelt het verhaal over de recente geschiedenis van het Vechtpark. Het is een wandelroute van 3,5 kilometer langs de oevers van de Vecht en door het Vechtpark.

Joggem woont in de gemeente Hardenberg en beleeft al fietsend en wandelend allerlei avonturen. De eerste fietsroute van Joggem was rondom Ane en is in juni gelanceerd. Tijdens deze tweede route gaat Joggem wandelend op ontdekking. De kinderroutes stimuleren op een speelse manier kinderen tot meer beweging.

Een aantal testgezinnen hebben de route bewandeld. Hieruit kwamen een paar aanpassingen. Nu is wandelroute helemaal klaar voor gebruik. In Natuuractiviteitencentrum De Koppel kan het boekje met de wandelroute worden gekocht voor € 1,50.

De route van 3,5 kilometer brengt de wandelaars langs de Vecht, de trimbaan, de wildwaterkanobaan en via de stuw weer terug naar De Koppel. Onderweg worden vragen gesteld, als de juiste antwoorden op die vragen worden gegeven komt er een code tevoorschijn. Met de juiste code wordt de kluis in Natuuractiviteitencentrum De Koppel, het begin- en eindpunt van de route, geopend. In de kluis ligt een leuke, kleine verrassing te wachten voor het hele gezin.

Het karakter Joggem komt voort uit de campagne Jongeren op Gezond Gewicht (JOGG) en is bedoeld om kinderen op een leuke manier aan het bewegen te krijgen. Ook in Hardenberg is obesitas onder kinderen niet onbekend. Deze route is de tweede kinderroute van de in totaal vijf routes die worden uitgestippeld en verder ontwikkeld.

Abby Hatcher made its world debut on Nickelodeon in the U.S. on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, and will be rolling out on Nickelodeon’s international channels and branded blocks throughout 2019. The series also airs on TVO and Knowledge in Canada.

Nickelodeon's new animated preschool series, Butterbean’s Café

Preschoolers will be whisked away on magical culinary adventures in Nickelodeon’s brand-new CG-animated series, Butterbean’s Café, premiering on Nick Jr. Benelux on Monday 4th February 2019 at 09:30 uur on Nick Jr. Netherlands (Nederland) and Nick Jr. Belgium (België; Flanders)! Following launch, new episodes of Butterbean’s Café will air regularly weekdays at 09:30 uur on Nick Jr. Benelux. Viewers will also be able to catch up on the series with watching encores weekdays at 16:10 and weekends at 09:30.

Created by Robert Scull and Jonny Belt (Bubble Guppies), Butterbean’s Café, the series (40 episodes) centres on a fairy named Butterbean and her adventures running her neighborhood café and bakery, and showcases creative cooking and features a curriculum with social-emotional lessons that highlight kindness and gratitude, and leadership skills.

In the series, Butterbean, her fairy friends--Dazzle, Poppy and Jasper --and her little sister Cricket take pride in serving up healthy snacks and sweet treats to the residents in their community of Puddlebrook. Butterbean’s special magic beans, the fairies’ enchanted kitchen tools and the team’s can-do spirit all combine to make their cafe the most awesome eatery in town.



In Butterbean’s Café’s series premiere, “The Grand Opening!,” Butterbean and her friends work together to make the opening of the café a success, while competing café owner Ms. Marmalady (voiced by Alysia Reiner of Orange Is the New Black) attempts to throw them off track.

'Peppa Pig Live! - Verrassingsfeest' to Tour the Netherlands in 2019

Peppa Pig’s Surprise, the newest live stage show based on Entertainment One’s (eOne) top-rated series airing daily on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr., is coming to the Netherlands for the first time in 2019!

In Peppa Pig’s Surprise, locally titled Peppa Pig Live! – Verrassingsfeest it’s a lovely day and Peppa is playing outside with her friends. Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig have a surprise for her and her younger brother George, but no matter how hard they try, Peppa and George cannot guess what it is. Audiences will enjoy fun interactive games and, of course, many surprises!

The live show encompasses the charming, colourful nature of the incredibly popular preschool series and features brand-new songs and life- size puppets that walk, talk, dance, and jump up and down to give audiences a unique, fully immersive theatrical experience from the moment the curtain opens. The show gives little ones and their families the opportunity to engage with their favourite characters like never before in an unforgettable first live stage show experience.

The 65-minute live show will perform around 90 performances in theatres across the Netherlands (Nederland) between Saturday 19th January and Sunday 16th June 2019. More than 30,000 tickets have already been sold for the show!

Peppa Pig Live! – Verrassingsfeest follows the success of Peppa Pig's Big Splash (Peppa Pig – De Grote Plons!), which toured the Netherlands in 2016.

The Dutch tour of Peppa Pig Live! – Verrassingsfeest is produced by Van Hoorne Entertainment in collaboration with Entertainment One.

PEPPA PIG - VERRASSINGSFEEST!

Verrassing! Peppa Pig, bekend van Nickelodeon, komt terug naar het theater. Na de succesvolle voorstelling ‘De Grote Plons’ zijn het liefste varkentje en al haar vriendjes nu te zien in een verrassende nieuwe familiemusical.

Dit keer is het groot feest! Slingers en ballonnen vullen de hele kamer. Een grote, lekkere chocoladetaart staat op tafel. Het wordt een hele bijzondere dag. Samen met haar broertje George en haar vriendjes speelt Peppa vrolijk buiten. Maar dan hebben Mama Big en Papa Big een grote verrassing. Peppa heeft geen idee wat het kan zijn, jij wel?

Beleef met Peppa de leukste avonturen in de gezellige familiemusical ‘Verrassingsfeest’ met nieuwe meezingliedjes, swingende meedoedansjes, vrolijke varkentjeshumor én grote modderplassen. De superschattige handpoppen, kleurrijke decors en uiteraard vele spannende verrassingen maken de voorstelling tot één groot feest voor de hele familie!

Natuurlijk komt Peppa ook na afloop naar de foyer voor een foto en dikke knuffel met jou!

30.000 tickets voor Peppa Pig Live! verkochtNog voor de eerste try-out zijn er al ruim 30.000 tickets voor de nieuwe familiemusical Peppa Pig Live! – Verrassingsfeest verkocht. De voorstelling is vanaf zaterdag 19 januari 2019 te zien met zo’n 90 shows in theaters door heel Nederland.

Op dit moment wordt in de Van Hoorne Entertainment Studio’s heel hard gewerkt door de cast en crew aan de totstandkoming van de spiksplinternieuwe show. Maar al voor de officiële start van de tour blijkt de familievoorstelling Verrassingsfeest, net als zijn voorganger ‘De Grote Plons’, ook weer een succes te worden.

“Als wereldwijd bekend merk én al vele jaren te zien bij Nickelodeon heeft Peppa Pig inmiddels vele kinderharten veroverd. Na de zeer succesvolle tour van seizoen 2016-2017 twijfelden we geen moment om weer een nieuwe show van Peppa en al haar vriendjes naar het theater te brengen. Ook deze keer wordt het weer één groot feest voor de hele familie”, aldus producent Michael van Hoorne.
