The Entertainer Launches Exclusive New Nick Jr. Range

The first range to licence the Nick Jr. brand is launching in The Entertainer this week!

Nick Jr Ready Steady Dough from Addo Play will be available exclusively from the UK toy retailer.


The range includes 4 Jumbo Pots, Pizza Play-set, Squeezy Shape Station, Lots of Pots, Supreme Ice Cream, Wacky Hair Dough, Cupcake Carousel (pictured) and Swirly Whirly Sweets.

"This range is the first to licence Nick Jr. and beautifully illustrates the playful, engaging and fun nature of the brand," said Marianne James, Vice President (VP) Consumer Products UK & Ireland/European Retail Sales And Marketing at Nick Jr.

"The Entertainer and Addo Play have done a fantastic job in translating the core values and key creative of Nick Jr. into a product line that preschoolers will love."

The launch of the brand-new Nick Jr. Ready Steady Dough product line follows the success of The Entertainer's line of Nickelodeon Discover Awesome activity sets which the toy retailer launched last year as part of a long-term partnership with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) UK & Ireland. The Entertainer's Nickelodeon Discover Awesome line is comprised of two ranges: Nickelodeon Make & Create, a range of arts and crafts activity sets which encourage kids to get creative whilst having fun; and Nickelodeon Science Genius, a range of inventive, creative and imaginative activity sets inspired by the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) curriculum, in which kids can have fun learning.

The Entertainer Launches Nickelodeon Science Genius Range Of STEM-Inspired Products

The Entertainer has announced the launch of Nickelodeon Science Genius, an exclusive range of STEM-focused products, as part of its recently announced licensed partnership with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) UK & Ireland!


The STEM specific range comprises of 14 science kits, including Nickelodeon Gunge 'n Glow, Nickelodeon Explore The Body and Nickelodeon Exploding Boomz, and is available exclusively in all The Entertainer stores and its website from early October. The agreement initially comprises of 26 licensed products in the range.

Supported by extensive PR and marketing activity both in-store, online as well as via PR and consumer-facing events, The Entertainer's objective is to introduce STEM products inspired by the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) curriculum to families throughout the UK.


The range is designed to improve children's spatial awareness, ability in maths and logical thinking.

The Entertainer is looking to champion the four STEM disciplines and support future generations in developing life-long skills across science and technology, particularly with the associated links of engineering and mathematics.


"We are delighted to be one of the UK's first toy retailers to introduce STEM specific products to the UK consumer," said Rebecca Rees, head of marketing and Licensing at The Entertainer.

"It is important that parents have the opportunity to purchase toys for their children which help develop key skills and equip them for later life, whilst at the same time giving them the chance to explore and learn more about any of these sectors which are of interest to them.

"Our website will also have a dedicated STEM page with further information to advise parents on the benefits of STEM and to support this we will also introduce STEM via our social media channels using the #whatisSTEM."

Nickelodeon Performs Magic With The Entertainer

Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) UK & Ireland has entered a long-term partnership with UK toy retailer The Entertainer for an exclusive range of Nickelodeon products!

Among the items that will be included in the 26 SKU line are craft sets, science kits, a magic box and a joke kit with names such as Nickelodeon Glowing Gunge, Nickelodeon Explore the Body and Nickelodeon Sock Monkey.

All lines within the range are suitable for kids aged four and above.


"We've seen tremendous success with the licensing of Nickelodeon properties but this range really speaks to the overall strength of the Nickelodeon brand as a whole," says Marianne James, vice president, consumer products, U.K. and Ireland, and European retail sales and marketing, NVCP. "Incorporating the fun, humor and hands-on ethos of Nickelodeon, these products are a brilliant way to encourage children to explore their world and be creative."


The line will launch at The Entertainer stores and online on Monday 5th October 2015, and will be supported by extensive PR and marketing activity to consumers across Q4 and the key Christmas buying season.

From mid-October, a marketing campaign will include product promotion across the Nickelodeon portfolio of networks.

PR activity will include product reviews, competitions and sampling to national consumer media, online portals and bloggers, plus key sell-in to gift guides across the Christmas season. The range will be featured in all Entertainer store windows across the October half term. In addition to an above-the-line marketing campaign, the partners are planning a number of shopping centre activations and demonstration zones within Entertainer stores across the country.


NVCP recently showcased their brand-new Nickelodeon range at FunFest Blogger Summit 2015 and will also showcase the range at the Nickelodeon stand, E005, during Brand Licensing Europe being held between Tuesday 13th and Thurday 15th October 2015 in Olympia in London.

Nickelodeon UK Launches Range Of STEM-Inspired Products

RMS International has extended its partnership with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) UK & Ireland to launch a fantastic Nickelodeon-branded range of inventive, creative and imaginative arts, crafts and activity sets inspired by the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) curriculum at The Entertainer!

The Entertainer Launches Nickelodeon May Mayhem

Get ready to crank up the mayhem and rock the school holidays with The Entertainer and Nickelodeon this May half-term!

The Entertainer Launches Nickelodeon Summer of Fun

It's sizzling down at The Entertainer this Summer, so stay cool with Nickelodeon's Summer of Fun!

To celebrate Summer 2014, Nickelodeon UK, the number one commercial kids TV network in the UK, and The Entertainer Ltd., the United Kingdom's largest independent toy retailer, have partnered to launch a brand-new initiative called Nickelodeon Summer of Fun!


As part of Nickelodeon Summer of Fun, kids are invited to visit participating The Entertainer shops throughout the UK where they can pick up their favourite Nickelodeon toys, from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "SpongeBob SquarePants" toys to toys based on Nick Jr. UK's "Dinosaur Train" and Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures upcoming "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie! Whilst visiting their nearest The Entertainer store, kids can also enjoy activities, take part in a fantastic character quest, and meet and greet their favourite Nickelodeon stars, including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob SquarePants!

Nickelodeon And Viacom Consumer Products UK Teams Up With British Toy Retailers 'Argos' And 'The Entertainer' To Launch Two Brand New Nickelodeon Promotions

NVCP UK partners with Argos and The Entertainer

Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products UK is launching a new promotion, Everyone's a Winner, with retailer Argos in conjunction with a second promotion, A SpongeBob Summer, with indie UK/Ireland toy retailer The Entertainer.

In what Argos bills as the biggest children's promotion it’s ever undertaken, the Everyone's a Winner promo, which began on July 21 and runs until January 20, 2013, sees consumers who purchase a Nickelodeon licensed product receive a code which can be entered at argos.co.uk for prize claiming.

Included in the more than 400,000 prizes are downloadable Nickelodeon activities, Nickelodeon Land admission wristbands, and a grand prize of one of three Norwegian Epic seven-night Mediterranean cruises.

Also launching on July 21 for a six-week duration at The Entertainer locations is A SpongeBob Summer, an in-store treasure hunt offering weekly prizes and an overall prize of a VIP trip to the Sea Life Centre in Brighton.

Argos is teaming up with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products in the UK for its largest ever children's promotion.

Everyone's a Winner sees shoppers who purchase a Nickelodeon licensed product receive a code number. After entering the code at argos.co.uk, participants' prizes are revealed - ranging from downloadable Nickelodeon activities and Nickelodeon Land admission wristbands, to the top prize of one of three Norwegian Epic seven-night Mediterranean cruises.

Over 400,000 prize cards have been printed for the promotion, which runs until January 20th 2013.
