Nickelodeon Australia And New Zealand To Start To Show Nicktoons USA's New Sci-Fi Comedy Series "Alien Dawn" On Saturday 10th August 2013

Nickelodeon Australia has announced and revealed the exciting Nickelodeon news in a post on their official Facebook profile page, facebook.com/NickelodeonAustralia, and on the channels official website, nickelodeon.com.au, that Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand will start to premiere and show Nicktoons USA's brand new American/Canadian science fiction/comedy series "Alien Dawn" from Saturday 10th August 2013 at 5.30pm until Saturday 31st August 2013!

Nick OZ & NZ's all-new mystery sci-fi show, "Alien Dawn", follows the adventures of 16-year-old skateboarder Cameron Turner (portrayed by actor Aaron Sauter) as he races to uncover clues of a mysterious conspiracy hidden in the animated pages of a comic book series created by his missing father.

To celebrate their brand new mystery series and the winter holidays, Nick Australia and New Zealand is also giving Aussie and Kiwi NickHeads the chance to win a personalised airbrushed skateboard by spotting the right classified fact during the series debut on Saturday 10th August 2013 at 5.30pm and then visiting Nick Australia's official "Win Win Winter" watch & win competition webpage to enter!

"Alien Dawn" also stars actor Kenny Sosnowski as Boris Walleyska, a slacker who loves to skate, loves everything and anything science fiction and a huge fan of Brady Turner, actress Christina Caradona as Lucy Condon, a girl who keeps a lot to herself, mostly about her father. But she is kind and never hesitates to help Cameron and Boris out of a sticky situation. She also attended Orion Academy, but doesn't remember anything about her experience, and actor Nick Wincenc as Pierce Rockwell, the school bully. He claims that doesn't believe in aliens or anything extra-terrestrial. He likes Lucy mostly because she is always around Cameron. Later in the show it's revealed that Pierce is actually a robot working for Lucy's Father, Hugh Condon (Clark Beasley Jr.), plus Alex Shimizu as Rock, Andrew Lemonier as Roll, Hilary Greer as Ruby Turner, Michael Forcan as Brady Turner, and Zineb Oukach as Stella.

Filming for the show began in August 2012 in New York City, and is the first live-action series created by and for NickToons USA. A total of 26 episodes were ordered for season one. The show was produced by Crook Brothers Productions, FremantleMedia Enterprises, and Larry Schwarz and his Band.

Unfortunately, Nicktoons decided to cancel the show after the first season after a dispute resulting in a lawsuit on June 27, 2013.

Nickelodeon UK To Release The Brand New "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" "Kraang Invasion" DVD On Monday 9th September 2013

According to Amazon.co.uk, Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products UK and Paramount Home Entertainment will release Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution's third brand new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" DVD, called "Kraang Invasion", in the UK and Ireland (Region 2/PAL format) on Monday 9th September 2013!

You can currently pre-order Nickelodeon's new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Kraang Invasion" DVD on Amazon UK for £8.11 and on Play.com for £7.99 (both online shops offer free delivery options in the UK).

Nick's new TMNT DVD release, "Kraang Invasion", will feature the next seven episodes of Nick's hit brand new CG-animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" TV series on 1 disc, and will feature the episodes "I, Monster" (also known as "Rat Trap"​), "The Alien Agenda", "The Pulverizer", "TCRI", "Cockroach Terminator", "Baxter's Gambit" and "Enemy Of My Enemy".
