Nickelodeon’s New Series Launches with Orange Carpet Event on Saturday, 12th October, Featuring the Show’s Co- Stars, Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande
London – 1st September, 2013 – Grab your best friends, something pink and a juicy ham because Nickelodeon's favourite funny gals: Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande are back in their new comedy series Sam & Cat. The series premieres in the UK on Monday, 14th October at 6:00pm with new episodes airing Monday nights at 6:00pm.

In the series premiere, total opposites Sam Puckett and Cat Valentine first meet when a wild predicament lands both girls in the back of a moving rubbish truck. After quickly becoming friends and roommates, they find themselves babysitting three younger kids, which give Sam and Cat the idea to start Sam & Cat's Super Rockin' Fun-Time Babysitting Service. Already proving to be a hit in the United States and with episodes featuring the UK’s own Sophia Grace and Rosie, Sam and Cat is the latest series from Dan Schneider, creator of iCarly and Victorious.

Best known for her comedic portrayal of Sam Puckett on the mega-hit iCarly, Jennette McCurdy recently wrapped production on Nickelodeon’s forthcoming original TV movie Swindle. In addition to starring in the Nick original TV movie Best Player, McCurdy has also guest-starred on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Law & Order: SVU and Medium.
Prior to garnering attention as the beloved character Cat Valentine on Victorious, Ariana Grande performed on Broadway in the musical 13. Her other acting credits include a feature role in Nickelodeon’s original TV movie Swindle and voiceover work on the animated Nick series Winx Club. Grande is also signed to Universal Republic Records and her 2013 breakout single, "The Way" featuring Mac Miller, scored Grande her first Billboard Top 10 single.
