The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television (the Canadian Academy) has announced the PAWsome news that PAW Patrol and Rubble & Crew have been nominated for a raft of awards in the 2026 Canadian Screen Awards!
The 2026 Canadian Screen Awards recognizes excellence across 146 categories in film, television, and digital media. The 14th annual awards will be presented over four days in Toronto during Canadian Screen Week 2026. The celebrations will culminate in The 2026 Canadian Screen Awards, hosted by Andrew Phung, broadcasting and streaming on Sunday, May 31 at 8:00 PM (9:00 AT, 9:30 NT) on CBC, CBC Gem, Crave, CTV, Global, and STACKTV.
Among this year's Canadian Screen Awards nominations are:
- Actor and comedian Ron Pardo has been nominated for the "Best Voice Performance" award for his performances as Cap'n Turbot and Mayor Humdinger, as well as various other characters, on PAW Patrol;
- Rubble & Crew (Jennifer Dodge, Ronnen Harary, Laura Clunie, Toni Stevens, Dan Mokriy, Dave Beatty) has been nominated "Best Pre-School Program or Series";
- Dianna Basso and Trevor Hierons have been nominated for the "Best Direction, Animation" award for their work on the Rubble & Crew Holiday special, "The Crew Makes Christmas Magical";
- Richard Spence-Thomas, Patton Rodrigues, Timothy Muirhead, Luke Dante, Bethany Masters and Kyle Peters have been nominated for the "Best Sound, Animation" award for their work on the Rubble & Crew episode, "The Crew Lifts Up City Hall / The Crew Builds a Rotating Restaurant";
- Brian Pickett, Graeme Cornies and James Chapple have been nominated for the "Best Original Music, Animation" award for their work on the Rubble & Crew Holiday episode, "The Crew Makes Christmas Magical";
- Erica Procunier has also received a nomination in the "Best Original Music, Animation" category for her work on Thomas & Friends: The Christmas Letter Express.

Winners will be unveiled during Canadian Screen Week 2026, taking place from Wednesday, May 27 to Sunday, May 31 at the CBC Broadcast Centre in Toronto.
