Nick Jr. Australia And New Zealand To Host World Premiere Of Brand-New CG-Animated Preschool Series "Zack and Quack" In January 2014

Nick Jr. Australia has announced the exciting news in their latest "Nick Jr. News" e-Newsletter (eDM), January 2014, that Nick Jr. Australia & New Zealand, Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand's local version of the popular preschool channel, will be holding the world premiere of Nickelodeon's brand new CG-animated series "Zack and Quack" on 9:00am on Tuesday 28th January 2014!:

It's time to turn the pages, pull the tabs and join Nick Jr. for the world premiere of Zack and Quack! Tune in 9am Tuesday 28th of January to join Zack and his best friend Quack the duck as they adventure through the pages of their amazing world.

"Zack and Quack" (formally titled "Quick, Quack, Duck!") follows the adventures of an inquisitive seven-year-old boy called Zack (formally Remi) and his devoted duck Quack. The duo live in a unique "pop-up world", where they can use tabs, pulls and other devices to trigger popups that create an interactive story. "Zack and Quack" is executive produced by Zodiak MEAA/UK family and kids chief executive Nigel Pickard with The Foundation's ("Summer In Transylvania") Vanessa Hill, alongside Kaplan and QQD's Ronen Shani. Simon Spencer serves as the series showrunner. "Zack and Quack" is based on Bafta-winning short film "The Happy Duckling". The short's director Gili Dolev co-created the new series with Yvette Kaplan ("Ice Age", "Beavis & Butthead").

Nickelodeon picked up the global broadcast rights for the new series, which will debut on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr channels worldwide, including Nick Jr. UK and Ireland, from early 2014, in 2012. Zodiak Kids senior vice-president of global sales and co-production Karen Vermeulen brokered the deal with Nickelodeon and MTVN Kids and Family Groups senior vice-president of global acquisitions and international programming Jules Borkent.

New Years Day 2014 On Nickelodeon UK, Nicktoons And Nick Jr.

To celebrate the first day of a fresh new year (Wednesday 1st January 2014), Nickelodeon UK, Nicktoons and Nick Jr. have unveiled their New Years Day schedule highlights, which are packed full of everybody's favourite shows, to make sure everyone can celebrate the very start of 2014 Nickelodeon Style!

Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK will be celebrating the first day of 2014 (New Years Day) on Wednesday 1st January 2014 by giving viewers a Rockin' New Years Day with a special "Victorious" day, which will feature a all day "Victorious" marathon featuring back-to-back episodes of the popular Nickelodeon original comedy show from 6:00am to 7:00pm, which will include the special two-part "VicTORIous" specials "Freak The Freak Out" and "Locked Up!"! Then, at 7:00pm, watch the rags-to-riches fairy tale of Charlie Prince ("How to Rock"'s Max Schneider) in the Nickelodeon Original Movie "Rags" at 7pm, and catch episodes of "Fred: The Show", "Drake & Josh" and "SpongeBob SquarePants" from 8:45pm! (all shows and "Rags" repeated one-hour later on Nick UK's +1 (plus-one) timeshift channel, Nickelodeon+1)

Nickelodeon UK's animation and action channel, NickToons UK and Ireland, will be celebrating New Year's Day with a special Spongy "SpongeBob SquarePants" marathon from 5:00am. Then, catch a explosive episode of "Beyblade Metal Masters" at 8:00pm, a action-packed episode of "Power Rangers Megaforce" 8:30pm and back-to-back "SpongeBob" from 9:00pm. Then, Nicktoons UK will offer more help to viewers to write their New Years Resolution Lists for 2014 with two episodes of "Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids" from 10:00pm, and end the night with the Classic Nickelodeon original animated shows (Nicktoons) "Rocko's Modern Life", "Invader ZIM", and "The Ren & Stimpy Show"!

Nickelodeon USA To Premiere New Episodes Of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" And "SpongeBob SquarePants" In February 2014

Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, has announced in their latest "TMNT Fan Club" newsletter the Booyakasha news that, following a small break, Nick USA will start to show more brand new episodes from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" season two from February 2014, continuing the shell-raising crime-fighting adventures of the four mutant Heroes in a Half-Shell turtles — Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo!:

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles return with all new episodes this February!

According to the television news website TheFutonCritic.com, Nickelodeon USA will start airing all-new episodes from the second season of Nick Turtles from Sunday 2nd February 2014 at 11:00 AM (ET/PT).

Additionally, Nickelodeon USA has announced on their official Twitter profile page, @NickelodeonTV, that Nick USA will also start to premiere more brand new episodes of "SpongeBob SquarePants" in February 2014!:
