Google has announced the exciting news on their official Google Chrome Blog that they have added Nickelodeon's Emmy Award-winning Nick App and the popular Comedy Central app to Chromecast, just in time for Thanksgiving and the holiday season!:

Chromecast is a digital media player developed by Google. The device, a 2.83-inch (72 mm) HDMI dongle, plays audio/video content on a high-definition display by directly streaming it via Wi-Fi from the Internet or a local network. Users can select the media to play using mobile apps and web apps that support the Google Cast technology. Alternatively, content can be mirrored from the Google Chrome web browser running on a personal computer, as well as from the screen of some Android devices. Chromecast was released for purchase in the USA on Wednesday 24th July 2013. Nickelodeon USA Tops Basic Cable Ratings With Kids And Total Viewers

Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, has announced the exciting Nickelodeon Ratings News in the following press release, from TVByTheNumbers.com, that Nick USA closed the fourth week of November 2014 (Monday 17th to Sunday 23rd November 2014) as the top basic cable network in total day with Kids 2-11 (2.2/670K) and total viewers (1.3M), scoring its sixth consecutive weekly win!

"SpongeBob SquarePants" was the net's top series for the week with Kids 2-11, averaging a (4.6/1.4M). It was followed in that category by live-action hits "Henry Danger" (3.9/1.2M) and "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn" (3.7/1.1M), respectively. With Kids 6-11, "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn" was the network's number-one program landing a 5.3/990K average, while "Henry Danger" (5.3/989K) was second for the week. On Friday, Dec. 5, Nickelodeon kicks off the merriment with Wallykazam! "Wally Saves the Trollidays!" at 10:30 a.m. (ET/PT). Legendary crooner Tony Bennett guest stars as the singing voice of Bobgoblin, an impulsive and egocentric goblin with a knack for finding trouble. Kate Micucci (Garfunkel & Oates, The Big Bang Theory) also guest stars as the voice of Elfelfa, a spirited and enthusiastic elf who is the Jingle Troll's new helper.

Zack gives his friends a special pop-up calendar to help them count down the days until Christmas. When Quack and Fluffy accidentally lose all of the Christmas surprises that pop out of it, they have to find a way to make it right. / Zack's mailbox gets frozen at Christmastime so he sets out to deliver his letter to Santa Claus in person, but getting to the North Pole and finding Santa proves harder than Zack and Quack
expected. Now it's going to take a real Christmas miracle to save the day.

Nick Jr. will also air holiday-themed episodes of preschool favorites during the extended Satur-Yay! block from 1-5 p.m., every Saturday in December.

Nickelodeon And Paramount Unveil Brand-New "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water" Character Posters

Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Animation have released three brand-new character posters for their upcoming brand-new "SpongeBob SquarePants" movie, "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water", which you can check out below!

The posters, debuted by Yahoo! Movies, feature Captain Eugene H. "Armor Abs" Krabs (also known as Mr. Krabs), Sheldon J. Plankton and Squidward Tentacles as their superhero alter egos in the movie, Sir Pinch-A-Lot, Plank-Ton and Sour Note. Yahoo! "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water" centers on SpongeBob SquarePants and his Bikini Bottom pals as they go on a epic quest. After a pesky pirate named Alameda Jack, played by Antonio Banderas, finds a magical book which gives anybody writing on its pages the power to do just about whatever they want, he discovers that the final page is missing and sets out on a mission to retrieve the missing page, which is protected deep under the surface by one legendary hero - SpongeBob SquarePants! After the pirate gets his hands on the last page of the book to put his evil plans in motion, SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Squidward Tentacles and Mr. Krabs discover that to save their underwater world, they must come to ours. Santa's making his list, checking it twice... and undergoing a secret investigation in Nickelodeon's brand-new original TV movie "Santa Hunters"! The film, which stars Benjamin "Lil P-Nut" Flores Jr. ("The Haunted Hathaways"), Breanna Yde ("The Haunted Hathaways") and Mace Coronel ("Nicky Ricky Dicky & Dawn"), follows nine-year-old Alex (Flores) as he sets out to prove to the world that Santa is real. However, unexpected consequences from Alex's meddling may cause Santa to lose his Christmas powers forever.

In "Santa Hunters", Alex and his cousins Zoey (Yde) and Richard (Coronel) create an elaborate setup of traps to catch Santa on tape, but their plan backfires when they realize that seeing Santa will cause him to lose his Christmas magic. The kids have to protect the tape to save Christmas, learning that believing is more important than seeing.
