Wonder Park (2019) | "Meet Boomer!" | Paramount Pictures

Wonder Park (2019) - "Meet Boomer!" - Paramount Pictures

Meet Boomer (Ken Hudson Campbell), the Ride Tester! The most lovable, big-hearted blue bear you'll ever meet!

When the park of her dreams needs saving, only June’s imagination can bring it back to life! Experience the wonder of Wonder Park in theatres and RealD 3D in the US on March 15th and in 2D and 3D cinemas in the UK on April 8th!

Look out for Paramount Pictures' and Nickelodeon Movies' pre-game spot for Wonder Park this Super Bowl Sunday!

A tribute to creativity, Wonder Park tells the story of 10-year-old June, a wildly imaginative young girl who builds models of amusements parks with her mother. When June gets older, she starts to lose her sense of wonder and begins to shun her childhood ideas, including the idea of the park, packing away her models away. Nevertheless, her childhood catches up with her!

One day whilst exploring deep in the woods, in a magical moment, she discovers a roller coaster car buried under ivy. It transports her to a fantastical wonder park, like the ones she used to build, populated by animals who were its past employees. But the park is broken down, abandoned and in a state of decay.

June soon rediscovers the wonder of her world, and teams up with a whole host of talking animals to restore the park to its full glory, complete with spinning contraptions and inverting roller coasters, all whilst contending with a invasion of a army of cheeky chimpanzombies looking to stir up all kinds of destructive mischief.

The US version of the movie includes Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Rules Don’t Apply, The Producers) as Dad, Jennifer Garner (Nine Lives, The Tribes of Palos Verdes) as Mom, Kenan Thompson (All That, Kenan & Kel, Good Burger, SNL) as Gus, Ken Jeong (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Bob’s Burgers) as Cooper, Mila Kunis (Family Guy, A Bad Moms Christmas) as Greta, John Oliver (The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, live-action Lion King) as Steve, Ken Hudson Campbell, who voiced Boomer the Bear, Sofia Mali as Young June, Brianna Denski (Momsters: When Moms Go Bad) as June, Oev Michael Urbas as Banky, Norbert Leo Butz (Bloodline) as Peanut, Kate McGregor-Stewart as Aunt Albertine, Kevin Chamberlin as Uncle Tony, Kath Soucie (Rugrats, Hey Arnold!) as Bus Counselor Shannon, and Noen Perez as Chatty Kid.

The UK audio track of the movie features mostly the same voice talent, with a few changes: Iconic British voice talent Tom Baker (Doctor Who, Little Britain, Monarch on the Glen) will voice Boomer the Bear and YouTube sensations Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee will voice beavers Gus and Cooper!

The PG-rated film is written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows) from a story by Applebaum (Origin), Nemec (Knightfall), and Robert Gordon (Galaxy Quest). Appelbaum, Nemec, and Kendra Haaland serve as producers, with Karen Rosenfelt and Don Hahn executive producing. The movie is being produced by Paramount Animation, Nickelodeon Movies and Ilion Animation Studios. A director has yet to be announced for the movie.

Wonder Park is scheduled to roll into theaters on Friday, March 15, 2019. An animated television series based on the film will also debut on Nickelodeon in 2019.

Funrise, Inc. will serve as the worldwide master toy partner for the franchise.

Look out for Wonder Park merchandise in stores soon!

Nickelodeon's SCAD aTVfest 2019 panel will take place at Thursday, Feb. 7, 11 a.m. in Panel Room A.

Nickelodeon's global Writing Program, which receives over 1,400 applications each year, is one of the best in the biz, and offers aspiring television writers, with diverse backgrounds and experiences, the amazing opportunity to hone their skills while writing for Nickelodeon's live action and animation shows. Consider the facts: alum have gone on to create their own Nickelodeon shows and write for all sorts of TV series and films. The 20th annual Nickelodeon Writing Program (2019 – 2020) is open right now! Visit www.nickwriting.com for more details, including how to apply!

Now in its seventh year, the Savannah College of Art and Design's (SCAD) annual signature event celebrating the television industry will be held at SCADshow on February 7 - 9, 2019. Entertainment Weekly (EW) will serve as the first ever Official Media Partner for the university's SCAD aTVfest.

As the Official Media Partner for SCAD aTVfest, EW helped curate this year's programming and will have staff on-site to moderate select talent panels. EW will also host a photo and video studio for talent to come through and galleries will be available exclusively on EW.com and its social platforms, as well as special events.

An integral part of aTVfest is premiering SCAD student work alongside their professional counterparts. A juried showcase will include dramas, comedies, web productions and more from SCAD's School of Digital Media. The event takes place at several SCAD Atlanta locations, including the SCADshow theater and the main SCAD Atlanta campus at 1600 Peachtree Street.

SCAD offers the nation's only university-run casting office, and is the only university with two original, student-run TV shows currently in production. SCAD's original TV sitcom, "The Buzz," won for Best Scripted Series at the 2017 College Television Awards.

The program's unique project-based approach to film, TV and performing arts provides SCAD students a distinct advantage before they graduate with unparalleled access to industry tools, experts and life-changing opportunities-from cross-disciplinary collaborations that mirror major film and TV productions to acclaimed Academy- and Oscar-award winning faculty, including D.W. Moffett, Craig Anton and Geoffrey Fletcher. Last year, more than 70 SCAD alumni worked on Oscar-nominated films as production designers, sound designers, graphic designers, producers, actors and more. In fact, 11 SCAD graduates worked on one of last year's top blockbusters, Black Panther.
