Veronica Mars) has picked up the "Webby Special Achievement" award in the 24th annual Webby Awards, which honor the best of the web! Bell was awarded the Webby award for her incredible positivity and use of her digital platform to help children understand the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, including hosting
#KidsTogether: The Nickelodeon Town Hall.
The winners of the 2020 Webby Awards were honored during an online celebration dubbed
WFH: Webby From Home, hosted by Patton Oswalt (
The Goldbergs,
King of Queens). The Webbys said this year's event is dedicated to "honoring outstanding individuals and organizations who are using the Internet in response to the incredible difficulties imposed by the coronavirus pandemic."
In addition to Bell, Nickelodeon also picked received several honors in the 2020 Webby Awards, for the network's Noggin SVOD app,
SpongeBob SquarePants and Nick Jr. YouTube channels,
Kids’ Choice Awards 2019 edition of the Screens Up App, the Nickelodeon Animation Instagram page, and the Nickelodeon TikTok channel.
