Migizi Pensoneau (Ponca/Ojibwe) was born and raised in Minnesota, and attended Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Migizi has worked for both major and independent production companies as a writer and a producer for film and television. He is the recipient of awards, commissions, fellowships, and grants from ABC/Disney, The Institute of American Indian Arts (where he currently teaches screenwriting in the MFA program), the Sundance Institute, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (with the 1491s, where they received a commission to do an original play, Between Two Knees), among others. Migizi has also covered scripts for Warner Brothers and the Sundance institute, and has written several published pieces on the interaction of Native Americans and popular culture. He received his MFA in Screenwriting at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM, and continues to write and tour for the popular comic group he co-founded, the 1491s. Migizi recently finished writing on Barkskins, an original series by Fox and NatGeo, and Reservation Dogs on FX.
Established in 2021 and helmed by original series creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, Avatar Studios is Nickelodeon's new studio focused solely on producing original content spanning animated series and movies based on the beloved world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. The first project being produced under the Avatar Studios banner is an animated theatrical film.

Hold on to your diapees, babies, as the Rugrats are back! Paramount+ Brazil (Brasil) will debut Nickelodeon's brand new CG-animated Rugrats series on Friday, September 17! The series is locally titled Os Anjinhos (The Little Angels) in Brazil, and will premiere in on Paramount+ Latin America the same day.
Update (21/2) - Following a sneak peek, Nickelodeon Brasil will fully premiere Rugrats on March 5, 2022 at 12:00pm!
The all-new Rugrats follows the even bigger adventures born from the colorful imaginations of Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Susie, and Angelica. Rugrats made its world premiere on Paramount+ on Thursday, May 27, with the first set of episodes now available to stream.
The U.S.-English dub of the series stars E.G. Daily (Tommy Pickles), Nancy Cartwright (Chuckie Finster), Cheryl Chase (Angelica Pickles), Cree Summer (Susie Carmichael), and Kath Soucie (Phil and Lil DeVille), all of whom are reprising their iconic roles in this new series.
The original adventurous babies’ voice cast is joined by new voices, including Ashley Rae Spillers and Tommy Dewey (Tommy’s parents, Didi and Stu Pickles); Tony Hale (Chuckie’s father, Chas Finster); Natalie Morales, (Phil and Lil’s mother, Betty DeVille); Anna Chlumsky and Timothy Simons (Angelica’s parents, Charlotte and Drew Pickles); Nicole Byer and Omar Miller (Susie’s parents, Lucy and Randy Carmichael); and Michael McKean (Grandpa Lou Pickles). Guest stars include Jameela Jamil (The Good Place).
Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the all-new Rugrats is based on the series created by Arlene Klasky, Gabor Csupo, and Paul Germain. É uma prova da influência do desenho animado criado por Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó e Paul Germain e que ficou no ar entre 1991 e 2006 na Nickelodeon. Eles retornam em uma nova versão, no serviço de streaming Paramount+. "A série fez tanto sucesso no passado e teve um impacto tão grande em diferentes gerações que parecia óbvio trazê-la de volta", afirmou E.G. Daily, que dubla Tommy. "Todo mundo vai se conectar rapidamente."
'Rugrats: Os Anjinhos' traz a aventura de Tommy, um bebê de um ano de idade, e outros pequenos como ele, do inseguro Chuckie aos gêmeos Phil e Lil, conhecidos por colocar tudo na boca, Angelica, cheia de vontades, e a doce Susie.

RUGRATS: REBOOT DA SÉRIE CLÁSSICA ESTREARÁ EM MARÇO NA NICKELODEON
A Nickelodeon Brasil revelou por meio de suas redes sociais no último sábado (19) que irá estrear o reboot de sua série clássica Rugrats, Os Anjinhos no mês de março. Confira:

Durante 2021 o canal exibiu alguns especiais para promover a estreia da animação no serviço da Paramount+, contudo, a série finalmente irá chegar oficialmente na tela da Nickelodeon no próximo mês. Este reboot foi feito em CGI e contou com a produção da Klasky Csupo Studios e da Nickelodeon Animation Studios.
A primeira temporada conta com 25 episódios e estreou nos EUA em maio de 2021. A trama não sofreu grandes alterações e permanece seguindo um grupo de bebês que entram em diversas aventuras sem os seus pais sequer imaginarem, o grupo é formado por Tommy; Chuck e os gêmeos Phil e Lil. A prima mais velha de Tommy, Angelica, também faz parte dos episódios.
