Production on the second season of Nickelodeon’s The Really Loud House has been forced to shut down as a result of picketing, Deadline is reporting.
The series is the second project in New Mexico to shut down this week as a result of the writers strike; Max’s Duster was shut down Tuesday, May 23. The Really Loud House films in Albuquerque.
It’s not clear when production will resume.
Based on the Emmy-winning animated series, the series ranked as the top live-action show on cable among kids 6-11 during its first season, which debuted in November.
Season 2 was set to feature more adventures in the town of Royal Woods as Lincoln Loud continues to navigate the chaos of living in a family with ten sisters, with his best friend Clyde McBride. Nickelodeon has ordered 20 episodes for season two. A Halloween movie, A Really Haunted Loud House is slated to premiere on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ later this year.
The series and movie stars Wolfgang Schaeffer as Lincoln Loud as well as Jahzir Bruno, Eva Carlton, Sophia Woodward, Catherine Bradley, Annaka Fourneret, Aubin Bradley, Lexi Janicek, Ella Allan, Mia Allan, Jolie Jenkins and Brian Stepanek.
The Really Loud House series is executive produced by Tim Hobert, who is also showrunner. Jonathan Judge and Michael Rubiner serve as executive producers. Production for Nickelodeon Studios is overseen by Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, Co-Heads of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Live-Action. Brittany Cope serves as Nickelodeon’s Executive in Charge of Production for the franchise.

All-new episodes of the platform’s original series Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years debut on May 26, with a second season due to set sail exclusively on Paramount+ next year.
In these all-new episodes, SpongeBob, Sandy, and Patrick get split up into separate cabins, an accident causes Patrick and Karen to switch bodies and Narlene and Nobby disguise themselves at Camp Master Krabs, among many other adventures. In a spongeriffic clip shared by Animation Magazine, from the episode “Are You Smarter Than a Smart Cabin?,” our favorite squirrel genius invents a “Smart Cabin” to help the gang avoid doing their chores.
These new Kamp Koral adventures join a treasure chest of SpongeBob content on the streamer. All of the franchise’s films, such as the Paramount+ original The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, plus The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie are also available on the service. As of May 31, Seasons 1-12 of the SpongeBob SquarePants television series library will be available, and the crossover special SpongeBob SquarePants Presents The Tidal Zone will make its Paramount+ debut.
Additional titles available to stream include The SpongeBob Musical, SpongeBob DocuPants: A Bikini Bottom Documentary and SpongeBob As Told By.

The series is produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, Calif.

The Patrick Star Show, the second spinoff of SpongeBob SquarePants, debuted July 9, 2021 on Nickelodeon. The original series is renewed for a second season (26 episodes).
