Chris Savino Wins Best TV Animation Award For His Work On "The Loud House" At 2017 NCS Division Awards
The National Cartoonists Society has announced the fantastic news that Chris Savino, the creator of Nickelodeon's hit original animated series The Loud House, won the Best TV Animation award in the 71st Annual National Cartoonists Society Divisional Awards for his work on The Loud House.
The NCS Division Awards recognizes excellence in the cartooning industry, honoring the best in the fields of newspaper strips, online comics, newspaper panels, TV animation, feature animation, newspaper illustration, gag cartoons, book illustration, greeting cards, comic books, magazine feature/magazine illustration, and editorial cartoons. Recipients are are chosen by specially-convened juries at the chapter level. Winners of the 2017 National Cartoonists Society Divisional Awards were announced at an event in Portland, Oregon on Saturday 27th May 2017.

Nickelodeon Northern Europe has announced the exciting news that Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland), Nickelodeon Austria (Österreich) and Nickelodeon Switzerland (Schweiz) will premiere the brand-new Bruno and Boots movie Bruno & Boots: This Can't Be Happening At Macdonald Hall, locally titled Bruno & Boots: Chaos pur, at 10:50 Uhr on Monday 5th June 2017!
Leading up to the debut of Bruno & Boots: Chaos pur, the second film in the wildly successful Bruno and Boots franchise, Nickelodeon Northern Europe will encore the first Bruno and Boots movie, Bruno & Boots: Go Jump in the Pool! (Bruno & Boots Ab ins kühle Nass), on Sunday 4th June 2017 at 14:45 Uhr on Nickelodeon Schweiz and Nickelodeon Österreich and at 09:20 Uhr on Nickelodeon Deutschland.
Based on the much-loved Macdonald Hall book series by best-selling author Gordon Korman (Swindle), Bruno and Boots follows the adventures of Bruno Walton and Melvin "Boots" O'Neal, the most infamous troublemakers at Macdonald Hall, a prestigious school for boys. Within their time at the school, Bruno has managed to convince Boots to tag along during countless prank operations and they have never, ever been caught. At least, not until today… Bruno and Boots are called down to headmaster William “The Fish” Sturgeon’s office to receive a punishment far worse than anything they could have imagined. The Fish decrees that Bruno Walton and Boots O’Neal will immediately be moved into separate dorms, as far away from each other as possible!
In This Can’t be Happening at Macdonald Hall (1 x 90'), Headmaster Sturgeon has had enough. In an attempt to put an end to Bruno and Boots’ high jinks, he declares that they are to be separated; no shared classes and, most certainly, no shared dorm room. This punishment is worse than anything the boys could have imagined. However, if Bruno and Boots can alienate every boy in Dormitory 3, Sturgeon will be forced to re-unite them. The plot almost succeeds, but one misstep forces the girls from the Scrimmage Academy for Education and Awakening to move into Macdonald Hall, leaving Bruno and Boots back where they started.
