Over £3,600 raised so far for Light Fund; various industry execs joining trio on last leg.

Roy Lowe & Sons 165-mile walk from their Mansfield offices to the Grosvenor House Hotel in aid of the Light Fund has entered the final stretch this afternoon.

The trio of Martin Lowe, Richard Radford and Dean Greasley have so far raised over £3,600 for the industry charity. They began the challenge last Wednesday (September 5th) and are aiming to reach the Grosvenor in London between 4pm and 5pm later this afternoon.

They have been joined by a number of industry execs along the way including Neil Henfry (TDP); Alison Pilgrim (Golden Bear); Andy Downie (Dreamtex); David Wootliff and his seven year-old son Jack (Rubie's); Saphia Maxamed (LIMA UK); John McInnerny (Allsorts Licensing); Alex, Sophie, Libby, Charlotte and Anthony from Fluid World; Cassie Allan, Richard Hollis and Steph McLernon-Davis (BBC Worldwide); Sion Aykroyd; Karen Creed-Stephenson (Character World); and Barbara Robinson, Emma Baker, Nicole Hilton and Danielle Dawson (Mothercare).

The boys will be joined on the final leg this afternoon by Team Nickelodeon, Holly Oldham (Rubie's); John Vasta (BinWeevils.com); Geoff Reynolds (Pedigree); Hannah Mungo (eOne); and Team Cartoon Network.

Part of the way will also see them wear 'second skin' superhero suits, kindly supplied by Rubie's.

There's still time to sponsor the boys, by clicking here. And failing that, the least you can do is buy them a drink at tomorrow's Licensing Awards and admire their blisters...
