Nickelodeon USA To Say Farewell To NickMom

NickMom, Nickelodeon USA's nightly adult-targeted comedy programming block just for Moms that airs on Nick Jr. USA, has announced the sad news in a post on their official Facebook profile page, Facebook.com/NickMom, that the block will be coming to an end at the end of September 2015. In addition to the channel, NickMom's official website, NickMom.com, will also close down:
Unlike your bottomless laundry pile, some things do come to an end. We’re sad to say that NickMom will be going off air and offline at the end of the month. Thanks for all of your years of laughs and support... we'll continue to give you some last LOLs here for the next few weeks.

NickMom's last proper broadcast day will be on Sunday 27th September 2015, with the block ending at 2:00am on Monday 28th September 2015. The blocks final schedule will be:

10:00pm - Instant Mom - "The Last Auction Hero"
10:30pm - Instant Mom - "48 Hours"
11:00pm - Gainesville: Friends Are Family - "Virgin Territory"
11:30pm - Gainesville: Friends Are Family "You Don't Know Who Kerryn Is"
12:00 - 2:00am - Guarding Tess


It is currently unknown whether NickMom's official social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram will also close.

NickMom was Nickelodeon's multi-platform destination created just for today's Moms. NickMom featured a prime-time, advertiser-supported nightly programming block on Nick Jr. and a convergent web site. The block a mix of original programming, such as "Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor", "MFF: Mom Friends Forever", "NickMom Night Out", "Instant Mom", "Take Me To Your Mother", "Undercover Cupid" and "What Was Carol Brady Thinking?", along with acquired series, including "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Yes, Dear". NickMom also aired movies, including family-friendly films such as "Babe" and its sequel "Pig in the City" most prevalent, along with other female-focused titles such as "Eat Pray Love". After acquiring its syndication rights, NickMom began airing the 2010 iteration of the NBC family drama, "Parenthood", in April 2015. NickMom.com, NickMom's official website, featured daily doses of funny photos, funny videos, funny stories and funny shows created just for Mom's. NickMom's official slogan was "MotherFunny".
