Bandai To Unveil "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir" Toy Line At US Toy Fair 2016

Bandai America is preparing to unveil its toy line for the brand-new animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir at the 2016 North American International Toy Fair!

As the master toy partner for Zag Heroez' CGI-animated TV series, Bandai will showcase the line at its booth at the show, being held at Javits Convention Center in New York City from Saturday 13th to Tuesday 16th February 2016.

The first season of Miraculous premiered on Nickelodeon USA in December 2015, quickly becoming a ratings hit, having already debuted in France and Korea where it also achieved high ratings.

Bandai will introduce an robust assortment of toys centered on aspirational action play, transformation and friendship, including action dolls for girls, transformational role play, plush pets and fashion dolls, guaranteed to bring the Miraculouys Ladybug brand to life. Targeted to girls ages 4-8, the Miraculous toy line is set to launch this Fall/Autumn at mass and specialty retailers across the world.

"The brand's inspirational storyline, lead character and top-notch animation aligns perfectly with Bandai's core competency in content driven character merchandising across action and role play segments.

Combining action-packed adventure with superhero elements, Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is a 3D, CGI-animated sitcom that follows two junior high students, Marinette and Adrien, who have the ability to transform into superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir, with the help of their Miraculous accessories & magical kwami, Tikki and Plagg! Together, they keep Paris safe from the evil Hawk Moth and his army of mind-controlling akuma. The storylines and adventures are rich with friends, family, fun, secret identity, transformation, villains, fashion, creativity and more, all within the spectacular backdrop of Paris.

Based on an original concept by Zag, the 26-episode series is a co-production between Zag, Method Animation, Toei Animation and SamG, with the participation of TF1, Disney Channel EMEA, SK Broadband and AB droits audiovisuels.

The popular Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir animated television series will roll out globally over the next three months.
