Popular Nickelodeon Shows Nominated For Awards In The 2017 British Academy Children's Awards

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced the exciting news that Nickelodeon has been nominated for awards in this years Children's BAFTA Awards, British Academy Children's Awards 2017, which honours the very best in children's media!


Nickelodeon's hit original animated series (Nicktoon) SpongeBob SquarePants has been nominated in the best 'International' series category of the 2017 BAFTA Children's Awards. Nick Jr. UK's hit preschool series Digby Dragon and Peppa Pig, and the popular animated preschool series Hey Duggee, which airs on Nick Jr. USA, have both been nominated in the 'Preschool - Animation' category of the awards. Blue-Zoo Animation Studio, the production studio behind Nick Jr. UK's hit Digby Dragon has been nominated for 'Independent Production Company of the Year', and the popular Hey Duggee – We Love Animals app has received a nomination in the 'Interactive' category.


The British Academy Children's Awards 2017 awards ceremony will be held at the Roundhouse, London, on Sunday 26th November 2017 and will be hosted by British actor, writer and comedian Doc Brown.
