Common Sense Media Awards 'Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie' and 'Top Wing' with Common Sense Seal's for TV

San Francisco -- Common Sense Media, the USA's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids thrive in a world of media and technology, has announced the very exciting news that it has awarded Nickelodeon two Common Sense Seal's for TV for the networks hit Original TV Movie Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie and popular CG-animated preschool series Top Wing! The 2018 Common Sense Media Seal for TV distinctions recognizes TV shows that premiered between October 5, 2017, and April 30, 2018, and offer exceptional media experiences for families to watch, talk about, and learn from together.


Arnold finally gets answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents in Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie, which made its world premiere on Nickelodeon USA on Friday 24th November 2017. Featuring a storyline picking up where the original TV series ended in the episode "The Journal", Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie follows the kids on the field trip of a lifetime, where Arnold and his friends embark on a quest to achieve his dream of finding his missing parents. Common Sense Media honored Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie with a Common Sense Seal for TV in the age 7+ bracket, praising the movie for character strengths, positive role models and representations and positive messages, deeming it great for families. Nickelodeon takes adventure to new heights in Top Wing. The action-packed CG-animated preschool series follows a team of eager young birds as they work together to help their island community, go on amazing adventures and earn their wings as full-feathered rescue birds. Produced by 9 Story Media Group, the show features storylines that help preschoolers build self-confidence, and includes lessons about perseverance and hard work. The series made its world debut on Monday 6th November 2018 on Nickelodeon USA. Common Sense Media honored Top Wing with a Common Sense Seal for TV in the age 4+ bracket, praising the series for character strengths, educational value, positive role models and representations and positive messages, deeming it great for families.
