South Bend Civic Theatre presents youth ‘SpongeBob Musical’ production at Mishawaka park


MISHAWAKA, Ind. — South Bend Civic Theatre presents The SpongeBob Musical from Friday through June 27 at Central Park, 235 E. Mishawaka Ave.

Based on the animated Nickelodeon series SpongeBob SquarePants, this youth production follows the title character as he and his friends Patrick the starfish and Sandy the underwater squirrel attempt to save the city of Bikini Bottom from impending doom.

The musical emphasizes the importance of community, friendship and working together to make a difference.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and June 25 and at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and June 26. Rain dates are Sunday and June 27.

Tickets are $20-$10.

This production takes place at Central Park in Mishawaka. Please bring your own lawn chair or picnic blanket since this is an outdoor production with no formal seating. 

In case of inclement weather which would result in a cancelation of the show. Tickets will be honored for any upcoming SpongeBob production including added rain dates of June 20 at 2:00pm or June 27 at 2:00pm.
