Nick Jr. Hostie Show Casting Call: Nickelodeon Looking for Musical Kids to Take Part in New Preschool Series

Nickelodeon has greenlit a brand new preschool series called Nick Jr. Hostie Show, and they're looking for talented child musicians to feature on the show!


In Hostie Show, an animated host is joined by live action, real kids, as well as some favorite animated Nick Jr. characters to celebrate popular pre-school music videos with Nick Jr.'s audience, who is invited to sing, dance and play along!

Nickelodeon is seeking talented kids in Los Angeles, California aged between 5-12 who can play the accordion, beatbox, play the mouth harp, whistle and yodel! Most roles are available for all genders to audition, with exception to the Kid Yodeler role, who needs to be female.

Filming is scheduled to commence during mid-March 2022 in Los Angeles, California.

Each child will be paid for taking part in the show. Shoot Day Rate: SAG-AFTRA: $845 + 10%, if applicable (1 day rate) or $1,149 +10%, if applicable (2 day rate.)

Kid Mouth Harp Player: All Genders, 5-12

Kid Whistler: All Genders, 5-12

Seeking talent from: Los Angeles, CA

In an additional casting call, Nick Jr. was looking for voiceover actors who can authentically voice historical figure and Japanese electronics engineer Yoshihiro Hamakawa for a YouTube project. The requirement was to "sound male, 45-55 years old."
