SpongeBob, PAW Patrol & the Ninja Turtles Head To Miko 3 Robot

A new Stories app will launch on the Miko 3 robot later this year, bringing popular characters like SpongeBob SquarePants onto the platform.

From Krabby Patties from SpongeBob SquarePants to the PAW Patrol's Pupmobiles, a number of recognizable kids IPs from Nickelodeon will soon make their way onto the award-winning Miko 3 interactive robot.

Mumbai-based robotics company Miko has partnered with Paramount Consumer Products to develop animated stories featuring characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that will be available for viewing worldwide on the bot in late 2022.

In addition to a camera, microphone and sensors, Miko 3 is equipped with a screen where kids can watch content, while a Miko Parent App helps their families monitor usage and screen time.

Paramount CP joins AVOD operator Kidoodle.TV, which signed a similar Miko 3 content deal earlier this year. Kidoodle’s shows, including 3D Sparrow’s Booba and Moonbug’s T-Rex Ranch, are available through the robot’s Miko Max subscription service.

Aimed at five- to 10-year-olds, Miko 3 uses AI technology to interact with kids, learn and adapt to their behaviors. The robot is available in more than 140 countries and offers original and licensed games, puzzles, TV shows and coding lessons.

Miko has previously partnered with brands such as Oxford University Press, Da Vinci Kids, Cosmic Kids, Out of this Word and Lingokids to expand its bot’s content offering.
