NEW YORK -- JULY 15, 2026 -- Following the worldwide success of Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, Paramount, GEA Live, and Senbla today announced The Legend of Korra In Concert, a new live-to-picture orchestral experience that brings the acclaimed animated series to life on stage, combining live music with cinematic visuals. The U.S. tour to more than 20 cities will launch in Omaha on January 10, 2027, concurrent with a European leg to 10 cities beginning January 31. The tour coincides with the 15th anniversary of The Legend of Korra, which premiered on Nickelodeon in 2012. The announcement arrives just ahead of next week’s San Diego Comic-Con. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 17 and are available through www.legendofkorrainconcert.com.
The Legend of Korra In Concert comes from the producers of global touring sensations Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert and Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert – The 20th Anniversary Tour, which together have sold more than a half million tickets across more than 25 countries, and established the franchise as one of the most successful live-to-film, animated concert tours in the world.
The new production invites fans to experience Korra's world through a live symphonic performance synchronized with HD projections of memorable scenes from the series in chronological order. The story’s dynamic action and emotional storytelling merge with a score featuring classical orchestration and jazz, electronic, and world music influences. Emmy® Award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman's genre-defying compositions reflect the series' more modern setting and complex themes. Fans will also have access to exclusive tour merchandise available only at tour venues.

Jeremy Zuckerman Bio
Jeremy Zuckerman is an Emmy® Award-winning composer and musician whose diverse body of work includes music for film, television and dance, traditional Chinese music, sonic art, and concert music.
Jeremy is best known for composing the music for the globally beloved Nickelodeon series Avatar: the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. His unique scores have earned numerous accolades including two Emmy Award wins and several nominations. Upon the 2013 release of the Legend of Korra soundtrack (via the Sony Legacy label) it immediately hit #1 on Amazon Music, and quickly landed in the top 10 on both the iTunes and the Billboard soundtrack charts. In 2023 Republic Records: Kids & Family and Nickelodeon released the long-awaited “Avatar: The Last Airbender – Book 1: Water (Music from the Animated Series)” score on digital and vinyl. The album features an updated and re-recorded score from the first season of the iconic series.
The creative mastermind behind the original music for Avatar: The Last Airbender, has also teamed up with GEA Live as well as Jeff Adams (the show's original editor) to expand and visualize the series’ original compositions for Avatar the Last Airbender in Concert a two-hour odyssey with a live orchestra bringing the show’s iconic musical score to life in perfect harmony with highlights and favorite moments from the series that play out onscreen, all with the support of series co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. The global tour for Avatar the Last Airbender in Concert ran worldwide to much success in 2024 and 2025, and a new 20th Anniversary Tour will launch in the fall of 2025.
Outside of his work with Nickelodeon, Zuckerman has written a series of chamber pieces for the Echo Society, of which he is a founding member. Jeremy has also worked with the modern dance choreographer Benjamin Levy on ‘Everyone Intimate Alone Visibly’ in which extended vocal techniques performed and processed in real-time by Zuckerman intersect with Levy’s choreography to form a complex gestural dialog.
Zuckerman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the Berklee College of Music where he studied Jazz theory and was taught computer music by Richard Boulanger. He continued his education at the California Institute of the Arts where he studied privately with electronic music pioneer Morton Subotnick, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in new media composition. Zuckerman has also served as a lecturer at California Institute of Arts, Berklee, and Dartmouth, on topics including composing for film and tv, traditional Chinese instrumentation, and sonic art.
Jeremy is based in Los Angeles where he lives with his wife and two kids.
Janet Varney Bio
Janet Varney is an Emmy-Nominated actor, comedian, writer and producer. In the animation world, she is lucky enough to be the award-winning voice of Korra on Nickelodeon's critically-acclaimed standout hit The Legend of Korra, a role for which she continues to be invited to comic cons to give sweaty handshakes the world over. You can find her on Apple TV in Platonic alongside Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne, and she can be seen as the unpleasant Becca on FX's (via Hulu) You're the Worst (named as one of the last decade's best comedies), and fighting dark forces alongside John C. McGinley as Evie Barrett on IFC's (via Hulu) Stan Against Evil. You can also head to YouTube for Janet's show Fortune Rookie, which she created, stars in, co-wrote and co-produced.
In the podcasting world, Janet created and co-hosts Nickelodeon's Avatar: Braving the Elements with Dante Basco (Zuko; General Iroh).
