Paramount+ has released a first look at Treasure Island, the upcoming six-part adventure drama series from Playground, starring Hayley Atwell (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Avengers: Doomsday) as Bess Hawkins, David Oyelowo (Silo, Selma) as Long John Silver, Tom Sweet (Great Expectations) as Jim Hawkins, Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire, Day of the Fight) as Aaron Graham and Tomer Capone (The Boys, Fauda) as Billy Bones.

The series will premiere on Monday 12th October 2026 exclusively on Paramount+ in the UK & Ireland and on Sunday 11th October on MGM+ in the US, with new episodes dropping weekly through to Monday 16th November and Sunday 15th November, respectively. Fifth Season is handling global distribution outside these territories.

The series also stars Craige Els (Andor) as Mr Arrow, Tristan Sturrock (Poldark) as Captain Smollett and Neil Pendleton (Outlander) as Mr Cameron.

Treasure Island is a Paramount+ Original Series in association with MGM+ and Fifth Season, produced by the BAFTA and Golden Globe winning Playground. It has been created for television by Robert Murphy (Vera, Shetland) and it is directed by Jeremy Lovering (Slow Horses, The One), William McGregor (The Buccaneers, His Dark Materials) and Paul Walker (Shameless, Hunting Alice Bell) with Mark Hedges serving as producer.

The six-part series was commissioned for Paramount+ by Sebastian Cardwell, Deputy Chief Content Officer, UK, and Paul Testar, Commissioning Editor, for Paramount+ UK & Ireland. Michael Wright, global head of MGM+, and Alec Strum, original programming executive, oversee production for MGM+, while David Stern, Scott Huff andColin Callender executive produce on behalf of Playground, Daniel Gratton, Robert Murphy and Jeremy Lovering also serve as executive producers.
