Nicktoons USA To Premiere Brand-New Episodes Of "Webheads" From Friday 14th September 2015

Nickelodeon USA's animation and action channel, Nicktoons USA, will start to premiere more brand-new episodes of the Nickelodeon game show "Webheads" from Friday 14th September 2015 at 8:00pm, as part of Nicktoons' all-new game show programming stunt, in which Nicktoons will be airing a selection of popular Nickelodeon game shows over four weeks, which will also include "Family BrainSurge" and the 2012 series of "Figure It Out"!

The first unaired episode of "Webheads" that Nicktoons USA will debut will guest star the cast of Nickelodeon's hit crime-fighting comedy series "Henry Danger", including Jace Norman (Henry Hart/Danger Boy") and Sean Ryan Fox (Jasper Dunlop)!

"Webheads", hosted by Nickelodeon Star Carlos PenaVega from the hit Nick TV show and superstar band, "Big Time Rush", is a studio-based game show series featuring kid contestants as they compete in elimination challenges revolving around viral videos. Each of the four crazy rounds of challenges will put the contestants Internet intelligence to the test. From wacky physical challenges to epic slimes and slemes (memes with SLIME!), Nick guarantee's you've never seen a show like this!

To celebrate and promote Nickelodeon USA starting to air the channels all-new game show, "Webheads", in June, Nick.com has launched the channels official "Webheads" website, which features exclusive online streaming videos (digital shorts), information about the show, a bio of and fun facts about the shows presenter, Carlos PenaVega, and Nickelodeon's official message board/forum, where fans can talk about the upcoming show!

"Webheads", formally titled "Go Viral", is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, with Ryan Seacrest and Adam Sher serving as Executive Producers for the series.

Entertainment One Hires Former MTV Development Executive Jeff Hevert To Drive Its Expanding Efforts In Reality Programming

From C21Media:
eOne gets real with Hevert

Entertainment One (eOne) has hired MTV development executive Jeff Hevert to drive its expanding efforts in reality programming.

The multinational studio today named Hevert as VP of current programming and development for alternative programming in the US for its eOne Reality division.

Hevert was previously a development exec for MTV, working in reality TV on the US music channel’s West Coast team. He will be based at eOne's office in Los Angeles and report to both John Morayniss, CEO of the TV division, and senior VP for US alternative programming Tara Long.

“We’re focused on expanding our alternative programming division and… I’m confident that Jeff will be a great asset to the team,” said Long.

eOne’s current reality slate includes Perfect Storms: Disasters that Changed the World, Mega Builders and Dangerous Persuasions. Its television arm has recently increased in output and recently turned out new seasons of series including The Walking Dead and Rookie Blue.

Hevert’s credits at MTV include the upcoming doc series BuckWild. A previous posting at Stone & Company Entertainment in LA included work on the Bravo series NYC Prep and the kids’ game show BrainSurge for Nickelodeon.
