Paramount Global, in partnership with 1+1 Media, has announced that Nicktoons and Nick Jr. channels are now available to watch in Ukrainian! The Ukrainian audio tracks for both channels were launched on Thursday 7th December 2023, and are available on a wide range of platforms, including OTT, Viasat satellite packages and cable networks. To make this possible, Paramount Global has translated and dubbed over 47,000 minutes of high-quality content in collaboration with Ukrainian talent. The news follows Paramount launching a Ukrainian audio track for the Nickelodeon channel earlier this year.
Update (9/12): Paramount will reportedly shutter Nickelodeon Ukraine, along with the Nick Jr. and Nicktoons channels currently available in the country on Thursday 1st January 2026.
Nickelodeon Arabia (جَزِيرَةُ الْعَرَب) switched from using a localized feed to merging with the Nickelodeon Global pan-regional feed on Monday 25th November 2024. With the switch to the Global feed, it is thought that Nickelodeon Arabia will no longer use localized continuity and on-air graphics, such as bumpers, idents and banners, for local holidays, including Ramadan and Eid.
Nickelodeon's beloved Latina heroine Dora the Explorer is set to make a spectacular return in Dora, an all-new CG-animated preschool series set to premiere on Nick Jr. Global in April 2024!
Nick Jr. Global is available in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), Germany (Deutschland), New Zealand, Africa, Poland (Polska), Flanders (Vlaanderen), Wallonia (Wallonie), Denmark (Danmark), Sweden (Sverige), Norway (Norge), Arabia (جَزِيرَةُ الْعَرَب), Turkey (Türkiye), the Czech Republic (Česká republika), the Netherlands (Nederland), the Middle East, Latin America (Latinoamérica) and Brazil (Brasil). To get fans excited for the return of Dora, many regional Nick Jr. YouTube channels have released full episodes and short-form videos from the new series, many of which can be found here. Nickelodeon also gave fans a first look with the release of Dora and the Fantastical Creatures, which debuted in cinemas, playing alongside PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.
Dora is set to stream exclusively on Paramount+ in spring 2024 in the U.S. Internationally, Dora will stream day-and-date on Paramount+ and air on Nickelodeon channels in all markets where available. Leading up to its premiere, additional Dora content will also be available across Nickelodeon platforms, Paramount+ and Noggin.

Popular Paramount+ comedy show RIDICULOUSNESS ARABIA is coming back with a new season starting on the 8th of October. Launched in early 2022, Nickelodeon Ukraine Pluto TV is Paramount Global's ad-free channel that broadcasts children’s content in the Ukrainian language for Ukrainian children who have been displaced by Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine. The channel is on air for 24 hours daily, and is available through Paramount's FAST service, Pluto TV, as well as through many TV operators across Europe.
However, with the launch of a dedicated Nickelodeon Ukraine channel in partnership with 1+1 Media, it seems like Paramount may be sunsetting the service, as the channel has been removed from a raft of TV packages, including in France, Poland, and Netherlands, with the channel ending its broadcast in the latter two countries on Friday 30th June 2023.
In Poland, Nickelodeon Ukraine Pluto TV, which was available on Polsat Box, Orange Polska and Canal+, has now been merged with the main Nickelodeon Poland channel, which now carries a Ukrainian audiotrack.
Meanwhile, Nick Ukraine Pluto TV has been withdrawnfrom the basic packages of Dutch operators Ziggo and KPN.
Additionally, Nickelodeon Germany removed the option to stream Nick Ukraine Pluto TV through its official website, nick.de, in May.
Update (5/7) - Dutch telco KPN has announced that, with the departure of Nickelodeon Ukraine Pluto TV, they will offer subscribers Nickelodeon Ukraine - Nickelodeon Global with a Ukrainian soundtrack - later this month. Meanwhile, the channel has also been removed from Movistar Plus+, Orange TV and Vodafone TV in Spain.

This long-awaited initiative will bring favourite children's TV characters to life in Ukrainian for the first time through content localisation. The Nickelodeon channel launched on Thursday 1st June 2023 and is available on a number of platforms with a Ukrainian audio track, including OTT, Viasat satellite packages and cable networks.
The channel showcases a localised version of the world-famous Nickelodeon brand, which has been wowing audiences around the world for over 40 years with its exciting shows created for preschoolers, children aged 6 and over and teenagers. Ukrainian children and their parents now have access to a huge number of top-notch shows and programmes in their native language, which are ideal for family viewing. In addition to global mega-hits such as SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol, viewers in Ukraine can now watch fully localised popular series such as all five seasons of Henry Danger, as well as the first seasons of Danger Force, Big Nate, The Casagrandes and the highly anticipated SpongeBob SquarePants spin-offs Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years and The Patrick Star Show.
"The launch of Nickelodeon with Ukrainian-language content is a landmark event in the history of Nickelodeon in Ukraine, bringing favourite children's characters closer to the Ukrainian-speaking audience. Thanks to our productive cooperation with 1+1 media, we are preparing more than 500 hours of outstanding shows in Ukrainian, and the library of localised content will be replenished every day. We are very excited to communicate with our viewers in their native language," Paramount Global said in a statement.
"Our important task is to ensure that Ukrainian children have access to high-quality thematic content in the Ukrainian language. The projects in the Nickelodeon portfolio offer not only entertainment content, but also combine an important educational function that meets our goals. The news follows Paramount Global launching Nickelodeon Ukraine Pluto TV in 2022. The ad-free channel broadcasts children’s content in the Ukrainian language and was launched for Ukrainian children who have been displaced by Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine. The channel is on air for 24 hours daily and is available OTT on Pluto TV and through cable and sattelitte packages.
XO, Kitty premiered on May 18, 2023 and debuted at #2 on the English TV List with 72.1M hours viewed. The Young Adult Romantic Comedy series, which is produced by Paramount's Awesomeness Studios and ACE Entertainment, appeared in the Top 10 in 90 countries in its first week.

The Ukrainian regulator National Council has removed the Paramount Channel from the list of foreign channels allowed to be distributed in the country. According to the regulator, this was done at the request of the licence holder, Paramount Global. The regulator has also expanded the number of languages Nickelodeon Global can be broadcast in Ukraine.
In other changes, the National Council has added four channels – T.TV.I, T.TV.I HD. OstWest24 and GAGSNETWORK to the list of permitted foreign channels, bringing the total to 109. TV.I and T.TV.I HD are documentary channels registered in Bulgaria, while news and documentary-based OstWest 24 is licenced by the Media Authority of Berlin-Brandenburg, Germany. Entertainment-based GAGSNETWORK is registered in California.

Those who are curious about what the future holds will be treated to the third season of “STAR TREK: DISCOVERY,” which will premiere on 25th November. As the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery ventures further into space in the third season, they find themselves landing in an unknown future after entering the wormhole in the second season finale. Although all life has been saved from the evil A.I. “Control”, they learn that an event called "The Burn", destroys most of the galaxy's dilutetium (the element used by star ships to travel at warp speeds), destroying many star ships including most of Starfleet, leaving the galaxy disconnected, and no longer governed by the United Federation of Planets. The crew goes on a mission to find the cause of “The Burn” and rebuild the Federation.
Paramount+ will also bring a range of exciting movies, including “CAST AWAY” and “THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY,” and fun holiday movies such as “MIRACLES ACROSS 125th STREET” and “HOT MESS HOLIDAY.”

Together with the humans who welcome them in and care for them, they’ll redefine what it means to be a family. The series will be available on Nickelodeon from Monday to Friday at 03:45 PM KSA / 04:45 PM UAE and is sure to keep the kids entertained.
Making the kids' days even more entertaining, Nick Jr. is also premiering the ninth season of “PAW PATROL” and the sixth season of “BLAZE AND THE MONSTER MACHINES” on 5th November (Saturday-Sunday at 05:30 PM KSA 06:30 PM UAE). Moreover, a new sub-series, known as “BIG TRUCK PUPS,” will also premiere, which has a trucker theme and will introduce the viewers to a new pup named Al and introduce a new setting known as Big Valley.
A new animated series “BIG NATE” is also coming to NickToons, based on the best-selling children’s books and comic strip that Lincoln Peirce, the acclaimed author, and cartoonist, has written and drawn himself.
