Harrods Invites Nick Stars From Nickelodeon Land UK To Take Part In Christmas Parade

The famous London department store Harrods and the British regional newspaper the Blackpool Gazette are reporting the exciting news on their official websites that to celebrate Father Christmas making his eagerly-anticipated arrival at Harrods and the start of the shops Christmas season, Harrods invited Nickelodeon Land Megastars Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo (the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"), SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer and Amanda Thompson OBE, the Managing Director at Pleasure Beach Blackpool, down to London to take part in the the Harrods Christmas Parade, which took place on Saturday 2nd November 2013, to help bring festive cheer to London! The Nick stars were joined by a parade of dancers, performers and real-life reindeer, along with Wallace and Gromit and Harrods' very own Henry the Electrical Van! Early birds also had the chance to meet Mini Harrods' special characters, Oska-Poska Doolittle and G & J, the Turbo Twins!

The parade also marked the opening of Harrods' famous Christmas Grotto, where lucky attendees were invited to visit via a very special Father Christmas Library located on the Fourth Floor. It's the only place to read about The Amazing Adventures of Henry the Electrical Harrods Van in his magical story books and be entertained with festive fun, music and dance, as you make your way to meet Father Christmas in the Harrods Grotto!

Blackpool characters filled the streets of London as part of a Christmas parade.

All the characters from Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool Pleasure Beach including SpongeBob and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were invited to the Harrods Christmas Parade, which shut the streets of the capital on Saturday morning, along with managing director Amanda Thompson.

She said: "It was a fabulous way to show off Blackpool’s best in London."

Nickelodeon Adds Jennette McCurdy, Kevin Jonas, Nikki Reed And Enrique Iglesias To Line-Up Of The Fifth Annual TeenNick HALO Awards, Sunday, Nov. 17, At 8 P.M. (ET/PT) On Nick At Nite USA

The entertainment industry news magazine The Hollywood Reporter is reporting the exciting Nickelodeon News that Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, has announced that Nickelodeon Star Jennette McCurdy ("Sam & Cat") and the American musician and actor Kevin Jonas (The Jonas Brothers) will co-host the fifth annual "TeenNick HALO Awards" with Nick Cannon, the Chairman of 'TeenNick'!

THR is also reporting that Nick has also confirmed that the American film and television actress, screenwriter, singer-songwriter, and model Nikki Reed ("The Twilight Saga") will be a presenter at the awards ceremony, joining previously announced co-presenters Dax Shepard ("Parenthood"), Darren Criss ("Glee") and Chloe Bennet ("Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."), and that singer Enrique Iglesias will perform his brand new song "Heart Attack" at the star-studded event celebrating four teens who are "Helping and Leading Others" (HALO), which takes place Sunday 17th November 2013 at the Hollywood Palladium and will be broadcast live for the first time ever on Nickelodeon USA beginning at 8pm ET (tape-delayed on the West Coast). Enrique Iglesias joins previously announced performers Fall Out Boy and Austin Mahone.

The HALO Awards also will host a interactive social media lounge, dubbed the HALO Hive, that will be led by YouTube personality iJustine, in which celebrities in attendance at the 2013 "TeenNick HALO Awards" can visit and encourage viewers to tweet and Instagram their pics. Fans can tweet with #HALOawards to share how they plan on helping and leading others in their own communities. New York-based duo The Jane Doze has also been tapped as the event's official DJs:

Nickelodeon star Jennette McCurdy will co-host alongside Jonas and Nick Cannon, while "Twilight's" Nikki Reed has come aboard as a presenter for the Nov. 17 event.

Kevin Jonas and Nickelodeon star Jennette McCurdy have been tapped to co-host the TeenNick HALO Awards, joining regular emcee Nick Cannon.

Singer Enrique Iglesias also has been added to the bill for the fifth annual event, which takes place Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Hollywood Palladium and will be broadcast live on Nickelodeon beginning at 8 p.m. ET (tape-delayed on the West Coast). Nickelodeon UK Wins Three Promax UK 2013 Awards

Promax UK has announced the very exciting Nickelodeon UK News that Nickelodeon UK and Ireland, the number one commercial kids' television channel in the UK, won three awards, including two Gold awards, at the Promax 2013 Awards!

The awards ceremony, which honoured the very best promotions and marketing campaigns for television shows over the past year (2012-2013), was held in the glamorous surroundings of the London Hilton on Park Lane on Friday 8th November 2013 and was hosted by the English writer, comedian, and actor Russell Kane.

Nickelodeon UK's "Robot and Monster Song" trailer to advertise NickToons UK and Ireland premiering brand new episodes of Nick's popular original CG-animated buddy comedy series (Nicktoon) "Robot and Monster" (video below) and "Take a Turtle home today" promo won the Gold and Bronze 'Best Children’s Promo (Clip-Based)' awards, respectively, in the 'Genre' category.
