Set to premiere on Nickelodeon UK's preschool channel, Nick Jr. UK and Ireland, in May 2014, "Driftwood Bay" (52 x 7 minute episodes) is a all-new preschool animation series about a little girl who creates an imaginary world from treasures she finds washed up on the beach. "Driftwood Bay" received funding from the Northern Ireland Screen Fund supported by Invest NI and part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

Lily (Orlagh O'Keefe from Belfast) is a five year old who lives in a beach hut on the shore with her Dad (Dormer). Everyday, the sea washes up a curious new treasure, which sparks Lily's imagination about what might be happening 'across the way on Driftwood Bay'. And so, with her best friend Gull - the clever seagull (Paul Currie), an adventure begins as they head off to Driftwood Bay – and its cast of colourful inhabitants.

There's Salty Dog (Mullan), the jolly seafaring sailor with a story for every occasion; Nonna Dog (Crosbie), a sage granny who runs Cockle Café and who's always ready with some advice and a biscuit; Hatsie Hen (Empson), a train-driving hen with a need for speed and a love of excitement; Bull (O'Hanlon), a boisterous bull who always charges head first into things (sometimes literally); Wee Rabbit (Horrocks), a gentle young bunny with a love of art, fairy tales and rainbows; and Lord Stag (Fry) an aristocratic deer with a taste for the finer things in life.

A unique series about making fun and adventure from things that you find, "Driftwood Bay" was created by Sixteen South, based on an original idea from artist Joanne Carmichael, and featuring characters and environments completely created from objects found washed up on the beach.

The series is set to air in May on Nick Jr. UK and will also air on RTE in Ireland, Sprout in US, ABC Australia, Kika in Germany, MTV in Finland, NRK in Norway, SVT in Sweden, and HOP! in Israel later this year. Broadcasters in Australia and the US will be keeping the original voices to the series.

Nickelodeon Portugal To Premiere New Episodes Of "Sam & Cat" From Monday 3rd February 2014

Nickelodeon Portugal has announced in the 'Noticias'/'News' section on their official website, nickelodeon.pt, the exciting Nickelodeon Europe News that the Portuguese version of the world's number one kids' channel will start to show more brand-new episodes of Nick's all-new live-action original buddy comedy series "Sam & Cat", including the all-new episodes "#OscarTheOuch", "#DollSitting", "#PeezyB", "#SalmonCat", "#Twinfection", and "#MyPoober", from Monday 3rd February 2014 at 8:45pm (20:45)!

In the brand new "Sam & Cat" episode "Oscar The Ouch", after Cat saves an elderly man from getting hit by a scooter, his daughter asks Sam & Cat's Super Rockin' Fun-Time Babysitting Service to babysit a very accident-prone boy named Oscar. Oscar is only allowed to use a rubber cup and can only can eat cold wet noodles without any forks or spoons. Cat feels sorry for Oscar, so she plans to make Oscar's day as fun as possible while at the same time keeping him safe with help from the gang. However, things go from bad to worse for Oscar!

In the all-new episode of "Sam & Cat" titled "My Poober", Sam and Cat babysit a girl named Ellie. Ellie's mom pays Sam and Cat to get rid of Poober, Ellie's favourite stuffed animal. But they soon find out Ellie is obsessed and very overprotective of Poober, and refuses to give it up.

In "Twinfection", after Cat fails to perform a magic trick on Sam, Sam doesn't believe that Cat is as smart as her. Cat then plays a trick on Sam with a pair of twins Cat wanted to babysit. Sam then gets her revenge by making up a false story about her catching an illness named "Twinfection". She devises a plan for her twin sister, Melanie, to return to Los Angeles from her boarding school in Vermont to play another trick on Cat, by asking Melanie to play along with the story.

In "SalmonCat", Sam and Cat are ordered to rename their babysitting business because it's too similar to "Salmon Cat", a popular kids' T. V. show from the 1970's. Sam and Cat must track down the show's two original creators, Sylvia Burke and Janice Dobbins (played by special guest stars Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams of "Laverne & Shirley" fame) and have the trademark infringement suit revoked. However, Sam and Cat soon realize the two creators of "Salmon Cat" refuse to speak to each other after a fight over a trophy a long time ago. Sam and Cat devise a plan to get the two to meet, but things go wrong when they fight, injuring each other.

In "PeezyB", after a famous rapper called PeezyB (special guest star Kel Mitchell ("Kenan & Kel") as Peezy B.) was mean to Cat, Sam goes to confront him. PeezyB soon realizes she has the "swaggy spunk" and hires her to be his new assistant. However, Cat faces difficulties babysitting without Sam, and soon gets annoyed as everyone focuses on PeezyB, ignoring her. Cat then hires a new babysitting partner named Mindy to take Sam's place.

Then in the brand-new special Halloween episode of "Sam & Cat" called "Doll Sitting", on a Halloween night, Sam dresses up like Cat and Cat dresses up like a genie. Sam and Cat are hired by a man named Mr. Drange, who Cat met by a grave yard, to babysit his daughter - a creepy doll named Clarice. Dice gives Cat a spell book and Cat tries to use a spell on Dice. She later suspects she may have turned Dice into a monkey. However, Sam doesn't believe Cat's spell really worked and tries to convince Cat it didn't. Meanwhile, the doll seems to be in a new location every time, terrifying Sam and Cat:
