Lucy Alexander Shares EPIC Nickelodeon UK Throwback Photo On Instagram

Homes Under the Hammer's Lucy Alexander recently shocked fans when she shared a photo from her days on Nickelodeon’s NickALive! for Throwback Thursday and gushed over her co-stars, calling them the “original crew”!

Lucy Alexander looked unrecognisable in a throwback picture shared on Instagram with her 14.2 million followers.

Former Homes Under The Hammer star told fans: “Throwback Thursday #Nickleodon #originalcrew.”

In the snap, Lucy beamed for the camera as she placed a tender arm on her co-stars shoulder.

Wearing a stripped jumper and black sweat pants, Lucy epitomised the classic 90’s fashion of that era.

The 47-year-old presenter, who got her start on a Burger King advertisement and who presented on NickALive! between 1994 and 1995, sported dark brown hair, a huge contrast to her now bleach blonde mane.

Lucy co-hosted the live segments inbetween shows with Rick Adams, Yiolanda Koppel, Mounya Khamlichi, Sarah Cawood, James Gilbey, Helen Chamberlain, and Bogey and Rude the Reindeer, first at the Trocadero Centre in the middle of London, and then at Rathbone Place just off Oxford Street in London's Fitzrovia district.

The sweet image seemed to bring back positive childhood memorises for many of her fans, with some sharing them in the comment section.

One person wrote: “I met you and had pictures taken with you outside the Trocadero studio when I was seven. I’m 33 this year and still vividly remember it!”

Lucy cheekily replied: “@keithlemon still waiting for my invite onto your show.”

The mother-of-two hosted BBC series Homes Under the Hammer for 13 years until she was replaced with Martel Maxwell in 2017.

“It’s with a huge heavy heart I’m stepping down, it’s not the outcome I wanted but to purse other work and a commercial deal I had to leave,” she tweeted in 2016.

Nickelodeon UK To Premiere 'Hunter Street' Season Two On Monday 23rd April 2018

A brand-new mystery is in store for the Hunter family in the all-new second season of Hunter Street, premiering Monday 23rd April 2018 at 6:00pm on Nickelodeon UK & Ireland! Featuring new Hunter siblings, new secrets, and new surprises, new episodes of Hunter Street season two will continue to air regularly weekdays at 6:00pm on Nick UK & Eire. Each episode will encore the same evening at 8:00pm and the following weekday morning at 7:00am.

Leading up to Hunter Street season two, fans can get caught up on everything that happened in season one with Nickelodeon's catch-up encores weekdays at 7:00pm on Nick@Nite UK & Ireland.

Update (18/4): To celebrate the debut of Hunter Street season two, Nickelodeon UK and Ireland have digitally premiered the first episode, "The Package" on the Nick Play app!

Hunter Street season one followed the five Hunter siblings - street-smart Max; independent and resourceful Tess; resident genius Sal; free-spirited Anika; and fiercely protective Daniel as they solved the mystery of their missing foster parents. With the family reunited, it's not long until they've got another mystery to solve when their dad, Erik Hunter, is accused of a crime! With new siblings, new secrets and new surprises at every turn, it's up to the kids to crack the case and clear their dad's name! Season two kicks off when a cryptic box is delivered to the Hunter home!

Monday 23rd April 2018 - The Package: The Hunters discover a cryptex, but Erik secretly takes it before they can find out what's inside. Max hears from his birth parents. And the police accuse Erik of art theft.

Tuesday 24th April 2018 - The Arrest: Erik is taken to the police station, where Daniel tries to find the evidence against him. Max talks to his birth parents. The police arrive to search the house.

Wednesday 25th April 2018 - Max: The kids find the stolen puzzle box and try to hide it from the police. Erik returns home, but is acting suspicious. Daniel finds a clue in the museum footage. Max leaves for Spain.

Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand Warns Parents After Fake 'Slime Experience' Ads Appear on Facebook

Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand has warned parents to be vigilant on Facebook after fake advertisements from a man posing as a Nickelodeon producer who was offering kids a 'slime experience' begun appearing on the social media platform.

The ad, posted on a Buy/Swap/Sell page in Western Australia, asked parents of children aged between 10 and 15 to contact them if they wanted their kids to get 'messy and slimed' at a non-existent Nickelodeon studio in Perth.

After a parent raised the issue with Nickelodeon, a official Nickelodeon representative confirmed that the 'slime experience' was not at all affiliated with the popular children's network.

The Nick representative also reiterated that the channel only promotes official Nickelodeon events and auditions on its television channels, websites nick.com.au and nickjr.com.au, verified social media pages, and via their current partners, and not in closed Facebook groups, with any such posts not being affiliated with the company.

Nickelodeon Iberia To Premiere 'Blurt!' On Friday 27th April 2018

NICKELODEON IBERIA TO PREMIERE NEW ORIGINAL TV MOVIE BLURT ON FRIDAY 27TH APRIL 2018

STARRING HENRY DANGER’S JACE NORMAN, JOJO SIWA AND DANIELLA PERKINS

Nickelodeon Iberia will premiere a new original TV movie, Blurt (formerly Inside Voice), on Friday 27th April 2018 at 20.05 on Nickelodeon Portugal and at 21.05 on Nickelodeon Spain (España)! Starring Jace Norman (Henry Danger, Splitting Adam, Rufus), JoJo Siwa (Lip Sync Battle Shorties) and Daniella Perkins (Knight Squad), the live-action comedy tells the story of Jeremy Martin (Jace Norman) who, after a comical virtual reality mishap, starts speaking every thought he has out loud and to complicate matters, he happens to be running in the school election. The film is locally titled ¡Bocazas! in Spain.

Jeremy Martin (Norman) is a nice-guy and when he puts on mysterious virtual reality glasses at the mall, he suddenly loses his “inside voice” and starts spouting every thought he has out loud. Making matters worse, Jeremy is running for student council president against his classmate Milly (Perkins), who is full of great ideas to improve the school. Desperate to get back to normal, Jeremy and his sister Victoria (Siwa) must figure out how to convince his brain that he can speak up for himself. Can they do it, or will Jeremy be stuck saying his thoughts out loud forever?!

The virtual reality sequences featured in the movie are being developed and created by Nickelodeon’s Entertainment Lab, the network’s new division spearheading long-range research and development efforts around new technologies for Nick and its audience. Blurt is the second on-air project fed through the lab, following Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library.

Blurt is executive produced by Scott McAboy and Michael Sammaciccia. Amy Sydorick is serving as producer. Jace Norman is serving as co-producer. The TV movie was written by Adrian Vina (Liar, Liar Vampire) and is directed by Michelle Johnston (Another Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits).

Blurt made its world debut on Nickelodeon USA on Monday 19th February 2018, and is currently rolling out on Nickelodeon channels worldwide throughout 2018.
