Nickelodeon India has announced the nominees for Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2018 India!

Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2018 India is India's most unique award show, and celebrates kids’ favorites from the worlds of movies, television and more! Like previous years, Nickelodeon's fourth Kids' Choice Awards 2018 India will feature lots of Bollywood Superstars & India's favourite toons! Hosted by the witty and charming Kartik Aryan, Kids Choice Awards 2018 will have the best of Bollywood - Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sonakshi Sinha will set the stage on fire with the kids’ favorite Nicktoons! The most awaited kids award show is all set to come to life on Thursday 13th December 2018 at NSCI Dome, Mumbai.

NickHeads across India can now cast their votes across 13 categories for who they want to win a coveted orange blimp by logging onto the voting page on Voot.com and by visiting the Voot app. Voting for KCA 2018 India will close on Sunday 9th December 2018. Each fan can vote up to 100 times for their favorites.


Actor Varun Dhawan, who has received three nominations in this years KCAs, will be treating fans to a spectacular performance at Kids' Choice Awards 2018 India. "I am super kicked about performing at Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards again. We have so many exciting things planned this year that are not only going to entertain kids but also empower them," Varun said in a statement to IANS. Names like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt have performed at the award gala in previous editions.

Speaking about the award Nina Elavia Jaipuria, Head – Hindi Mass Entertainment and Kids TV Network at Viacom18 said, “It brings me immense pleasure to present yet another year of Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. The memories that we make as children always set path for the adult in us.

Nickelodeon, India’s leading kids’ entertainment franchise by Viacom18 is all set to host a week long carnival to celebrate Children’s Day with interactive activities and games. The week long activities will see the channel entertain the little munchkins and remind us, never to forget the child within.

Nickelodeon will kick start the activities with a makeover of the entire channel with Children’s week bugs, Astons, Bumpers and Idents. The excitement increased with the premier of Gattu Battu’s first TV movie and a majestic short movie based on Lord Shiva. An additional treat will be the daily blocks of Motu and Patlu, giving children a chance to discuss on social media by running a contest of which movie of their most loved character Motu Patlu will be played on children’s day. That is not all, kids will also be treated to a splendid surprise with the new children week special - Slime Jump Game! The game brought upon laughter and moments to always remember as the kids selected their favourite toon to get slimed upon.

If that is all happening on-air, Nickelodeon isn’t far behind in engaging with kids from schools and NGO’s on this special day. The channel has always encouraged its viewers to have fun while bringing out the child within you. Nicktoons like Shiva, Rudra and Dora engaged with kids of Podar International School and Angel Express, NGO for interactive activities and games.

Nickelodeon India, the children’s TV network owned by Viacom 18, kicked off its Children’s Day celebrations from November 10th. The entire channel got a makeover with Children’s Week bugs, Astons, Bumpers and Idents. The entire week saw Children’s Week special content with the premiere of Gattu Battu’s first TV movie and a mini-movie of Shiva! Along with this, the kids were treated to Motu Patlu Blocks every day.

Sneak Peek: Carla Hall to Guest Star in New Episode of 'Butterbean's Café', Premiering Fri., Nov. 16 on Nickelodeon USA

If you're a fan of Carla Hall (The Chew, Top Chef), here's some exciting news: The chef and cookbook author extraordinaire's newest television appearance is happening tomorrow on Nickelodeon USA! And to celebrate, Delish has unveiled a exclusive sneak peak, which you can watch the awesome video here on Delish.com!

On Nickelodeon's brand-new CG-animated preschool series Butterbean's Café, Carla voices the President, who is unable to make her lunch date at the magical Butterbean's Café when her car breaks down. The episode, called “A Grilled Cheese for the Big Cheese!" airs Friday, November 16 at 12:30 p.m. EST, and it will follow how the titular fairy Butterbean helps Madame President get her grilled cheese anyway.

Though it's unclear if the President will make more than one appearance on the show, Carla sure seemed to have a great time being a part of it!:

Butterbean's Café (40 episodes) centers on a fairy named Butterbean and her adventures running her neighborhood café and bakery. Each episode whisks preschoolers away on magical culinary adventures. In the series, Butterbean, her fairy friends--Dazzle, Poppy and Jasper--and her little sister Cricket take pride in serving up healthy snacks and sweet treats to the residents in their community of Puddlebrook. Butterbean’s special magic beans, the fairies’ enchanted kitchen tools and the team’s can-do spirit all combine to make their cafe the most awesome eatery in town.

Butterbean's Café made its world premiere on Nick USA on Monday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. (ET/PT), where it became Nickelodeon's highest-rated preschool series debut since the 2013 launch of PAW Patrol, posting double-digit year-over-year gains and averaging a 4.6/456,000 with Kids 2-5 (+27%). The new episode (1 p.m. [ET/PT]) also drew 1.3 million total viewers (+55%).

Nickelodeon's new animated preschool series, Butterbean’s Café, premieres on Monday, Nov. 12

Though the show only premiered earlier this week, it's already boasting a huge line-up of culinary giant guest appearances. In addition to Carla, Richard Blais (Top Chef, Guy’s Grocery Games), Alton Brown (Good Eats, Iron Chef America), Padma Lakshmi (Top Chef), Giada De Laurentiis (Giada at Home) and Rachael Ray (The Rachael Ray Show) will guest-star, to name just a few.

Created by Robert Scull and Jonny Belt (Bubble Guppies), Butterbean’s Café showcases creative cooking and features a curriculum with social-emotional lessons that highlight kindness and gratitude, and leadership skills.
